Smashbomb gives me that freedom. I love that you can review anything you want and have enjoyed posting on Smashbomb so far. I also enjoy interacting with other members through the different orbs the site has.
I also like the limit on 'likes' you can give everyday. Instead of just liking something so that people go and read your reviews, the limit makes you really consider which information is worth reading or liking.
I haven't really got to grips with the giveaways yet, but that's something I would like to participate in the future.
When I'm looking for reviews about a certain book or film, I enjoy reading the varied opinions of others.
If there are no reviews of a book I have read or film I've watched, it's also really easy to create my own page.
I really enjoy this website and I look forward to seeing how this website will grow in the future.

This is the last Dalziel and Pascoe book and somehow that is fitting, it provides a lot of closure for the two men, in so many ways opposites but who work well as a team. Dalziel is forcing himself back to work and perhaps has finally realised that not only is he not indestructable but that Mid Yorkshire CID is more than capable of solving crimes without him. This last story effectively provides that moment when he acknowledges that Pascoe is - at long last - good enough to fill his shoes.
The plots themselves are a little contrived to fit within the 24 hour sequence but as usual Hill is up to his old tricks of playing with the genre and the reader's expectations of how crime stories go. Because there is not one story here each one is a little light on actual plot but they serve their purpose - hooks to hang one last outing of Dalziel and Pascoe on.

The Plot: Dr. Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) becomes a pawn in the Jigsaw Killer's (Tobin Bell) latest gory game. Kidnapped and taken to an abandoned warehouse, she finds Jigsaw bedridden and dying. Her task is to keep the maniac alive long enough for Jeff (Angus Macfadyen), a fellow victim, to complete his own task. Each is unaware that Jigsaw has much bigger -- and deadlier -- plans in store.
Jeff's charcter- after his son is killed by a drunk driver, is put through a series of tests by Jigsaw in order to try to get him to let go of his vengeance for the man that killed his son. You care about Jeff, you feel his pain and suffering, you want him to survivie Jigsaw's games. You want to know who killed his son and by the end you will find out.
I liked this movie, i liked this sequel, i liked the story, i like psychological espect, the twist and turns and i liked the ending of all three movies so far.

And it didn't really go anywhere in truth.
They're trying to find a cure and in the process men marry several girls at a time to reproduce so that they may find a cure eventually and live full length lives.
I'll admit that Linden made me a little sick at one point in the book, in my opinion Cecily was way too young, but later on we learn that he's rather innocent in regards to the outside world.
As for the wives. Well, Cecily did my head in to start with. She was so young but trying to be so mature and it didn't work for me but by the end she'd grown on me a fair bit. Jenna... *sighs* she was pretty cool and I really liked her, from beginning to end. And then Rhine. She knew the game she had to play to survive and she did what was necessary.
I'm not too sure at the minute whether I'm bothered enough to carry on with the series.
