"The first time I heard him was in London, it was 1964 and he had just come out with that album and I got it. It was in my manager Gordon Mills's Notting Hill Gate flat and he just had it because they used to send him stuff - things that I might like. There was this album, so I thought "Shit! This is tremendous" and recorded a bunch of the songs on there - 'If You Need Me' was one of the ones on the first album. Solomon was always my favourite soul singer, more than Otis Redding, Sam and Dave or Wilson Pickett. Solomon was a step above. He was more of a singer who happened to sing blues and gospel - you could tell that he came from the church, but he sang it better. Otis Redding used to get trouble with this throat - you could hear it in him. He was struggling to get out what he did. Wilson Pickett had great feel and great drive, but there was a roughness to his voice, and Solomon could be rough or sweet when he wanted to be, he could put his voice into different areas. And his range was huge - there's that track on it, 'Goodbye Baby, Baby Goodbye', he sings that in two octaves, which is tremendous. Real, very honest."

Are you a Kim Vogel Sawyer fan? Or a historical fiction fan? Then you will enjoy Kim's newest book to be coming out soon. It is delightful. Kim writes wonderfully, and this book captured my attendance for the entire book.

I was wondering if Sloane would catch up to Fanny. This book pulls you through Fanny's journey, and she will get her freedom. In the process, Sloan will find his freedom as well. There are three main characters throughout this book. We get to see their point of view throughout the book; Most of them are Fanny's point of view. We do see Walters and Sloane's point of view throughout the book as well.

This book talks about slaves. What will happen when Fanny meets Enoch and his family? Will she help them to freedom, and she gets help with being hidden with them. What will Fanny do? Will Sloane learn about keeping his word and about God?

Will Sloan find his riverboat singer? Does he seem to think he is on a goose chase trying to find a singer that seems to sing her way to freedom? The plot thickens, and there will be freedom for Fanny. Will she get what she has been looking for in life. Fanny agreed to help care and watch over Walter's little girl Annlesse. What will happen when Walter's new wife comes?

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)
2008 | Comedy, Romance
Has it's moments
The movie has its moments of comedy and drama. Siegel plays a love struck music sound layer for his girlfriend Bell (Sarah Marshall) when she up and dumps him for a wild and crazy rick singer played by Russel Brand. After some advice he decides to take a long vacation to a Hawaiian resort only to find out that is ehre his ex and new beau are staying and has to make the best of it. Lots of great cameos in this film and a great idea for a musical. I feel that it could have been a little better but, still a good flick

In book two of The Warriors of Poisdeon series we find Ven in Washington State investigating a new influx of vampire conversion when he is suppose to meet the leader of the New Light Coven who turns out to be Erin. Erin has her own reasons to end the rein of the Roman Emperior. Ven wants his woman brainless and forgettable. His soul longs for Erin a warrior Gem Singer. Wonderful read with love and action and more than a few laughs. This continuation of the Warriors of Posideon leaves you at the edge of your seat and as you see how the life of the warriors unfolds.

Akurei is an electronic singer-songwriter from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Not too long ago, he released a do-it-yourself music video for his “Stockholm” single.

The audiovisual was filmed by Akurei’s good friend Max Byrne (Golden Vessel) in February during a recent trip to the United States.

The video stars Akurei performing against a variety of visually stimulating winter backdrops while wearing a big fury coat.

‘Stockholm’ is the first single from Akurei’s upcoming second EP, which will be released later this year.

The likable tune contains a relatable storyline, pleasing vocals, and summery instrumentation scented with an indie-electro fragrance.
