Bong Mines Entertainment (15 KP) rated Better - Single by Joycie in Music
Jun 26, 2019
“I’m not a stranger to mishaps, I’m never wanting an adverse reaction. You won’t, you won’t let me down. You love me better than I ever loved, you touch me better than I ever could.” – lyrics
‘Better’ tells a charming tale of a young woman who isn’t a stranger to disappointments. Therefore, she builds herself up because she expects to be let down by those who she gives her heart to.
Apparently, she’s head-over-heels in love with a guy who she shares a potentially serious relationship with.
Even though he’s much better than anyone she’s ever been with, she tries to avoid a letdown by running away from her love for him. But she is unable to do so because her love for him is too strong for her to let go of it.
‘Better’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and melodic instrumentation flavored with contemporary R&B and urban-pop elements.
“‘Better’ tells the story of a girl that has a history of heartbreaks and knows the signs all too well. She’s met someone but has tried to put up a wall just in case things doesn’t go well. Somehow, her walls fall, and she lets this person in because they love her better than she ever thought possible.” – Joycie
Bong Mines Entertainment (15 KP) rated Coconut Island - Single by Meresha in Music
Jul 10, 2019
“So we crossed the sea again looking to find a land where we could thrive, you and I. Then a storm came suddenly, shook us up so violently, and we lost all track of time. The warm sand beneath my cold body, I rose with the sun when you found me.” – lyrics
‘Coconut Island’ tells a dreamy tale of a young woman who enjoys a sweet-like-candy-life on a tropical island with her significant other in the summertime.
Apparently, the breezy and warm air is fresh and pure, and the deep blue sea entices them to take a swim. Later, they savor the yummy juice from coconuts while the gentle waves crash the shore.
‘Coconut Island’ contains a fun storyline, pleasing vocals, and harmonious instrumentation flavored with a tropical-pop aroma.
Also, the likable tune sends an evergreen message which states that coco is good for your soul and nature is the remedy.
Meresha considers herself an #AlienPop innovator with a wide-ranging soulful voice and quirky sonic vision.
Her last single, “Jungle Potion”, went viral, hitting a million streams within a few weeks. Also, it was included on Ariana Grande‘s official personal playlist.
Meresha has landed on the Billboard charts 7 times, including peaking at #3 on Billboard’s Next Big Chart globally.
Bong Mines Entertainment (15 KP) rated IT IS AS IF by Jake Troth in Music
Sep 2, 2019
“‘Alive & Well’ was written over the course of 5 years. It was initiated at the lowest point of my life and then completed years later during the best moments of my life. I wrote the verses based on the feeling the film “Harold and Maude” gave me; Melodrama and Macabre mixed with a little tongue-in-cheek bravery.” – Jake Troth
‘Alive & Well’ arrives on the heels of Jake Troth’s debut single, entitled, “Open Door”.
The honest tune finds Troth struggling with his inner self as he transitions from his lowest points to some of his best moments.
‘Alive and Well’ will be featured on Troth’s upcoming debut album, entitled, “IT IS AS IF”.
“‘IT IS AS IF’ reveals a sweet and succinct new approach towards songcraft, anchored by remarkably refined melodies and deft lyrical observations.”
The 10-track project was written over the course of two solitary weeks in a Woodstock, New York cabin.
Apart from being a musical artist, Jake Troth has a flair for art. He hand-painted all the single artworks and the LP cover himself.
So far, he has collaborated with artists such as Lizzo, Kehlani, Sia, Big Boi, and many more. Also, his “Sunday Smile” single has amassed over 10M streams online.

Bong Mines Entertainment (15 KP) rated These Words by Sunny Birla in Music
Jun 17, 2019
“It’s only been a while since we’ve been apart. I’m feeling everything I’ve lost. Over, over again I am wondering if things would change. If only I had just told you that night. It feels like nothing can be more right. I don’t need all the planets and stars to align. All I need is to be with you here.” – lyrics
‘These Words’ tells an interesting tale of a lovesick young guy who is unhappy because he regrets losing the love of his life.
Apparently, she’s gone, and all he has left are words which he should have spoken to her when they were together.
Later, he admits that things could have been different between them if he would have acted differently during their relationship.
‘These Words’ contains a relatable storyline, ear-welcoming vocals, and charming instrumentation seasoned with a sentimental pop aroma.
From an early age, Sunny Birla, born Anurag Birla, realized music was not merely a hobby, but a calling. Since then, he has since cultivated a voice that emanates directly from his soul.
Armed with this gift and a smorgasbord of inspiration, he works with creative partner Derrick Wan to create honest songs.
Also, he draws inspiration from a lifetime of experiences with love, loss, and battles with demons. His music resonates with anyone who’s fought their own battles and come out the other side.
