I loved it all. So much fun to see another side to this author. I loved the musician aspect as well. The love, the hardships, the conflicts and the amazing bond between sisters and even through everything they are together. I loved how it ended and the end brought everything together perfectly. The lyrics are amazing.. and I loved Saul. He brought more into this story. The betrayal involved was perfect for the story and made me feel. As always when reading I felt like I was brought into the story. I love that Alexia can make me feel like I transported to the story and I have to finish reading it as soon as possible. Amazing!

This is the third book in the series about Freya and her sisters who have been turned into Frae by the cauldron as Freya and her mate and some friends continue their battle against the courts Lords to stop them destroying the human lands and being humans and Fae together. Freya discovers that destroying the cauldron doesn't stop the deaths and destruction happening and ends up forging the pieces back together. They lose their father in this part of the series though they find out that their father loves them even though they are now Fae. Not sure if there is going to be any more in the series. Very enjoyable YA book.

Beautifully illustrated and a simple
This is a great start in explaining trans gendered to children, whither the feelings are theirs, or someone in their social group. It’s extremely simpleized, which I think is great for the age it’s geared towards. I do think there needs to be some explanation of what a “Vixen”. Vincent talks about his brothers and sisters, but they are always described as a fox. But the ending line is “Vincent grew up and lived happily as Vincent the Vixen” with no explanation of why that is important. The illustrations help greatly with the concept, but I think it needs to be in words as well.

I really wanted to like this book and really did for the most part. There is a lot of information in this book, and it is all fascinating to me. Only I came across a problem when the author was discussing the Fox sisters, who held the first séances in the late 1800's. But one thing the Author did not mention was that the girls later admitted to faking the 'rappings' that were supposed to be the spirits. The lack of this information itself is not horrible as it wasn't really necessary in the context, but it made me put into question if there was any other information that had been left out, possibly on purpose.

I thought maybe loving “Now that you mention it” so much would be a fluke I am happy to say nope not the case. I loved this book just as much. It is amazing how well Kristan transforms a scene into a real life moment. There were multiple times in each of her books where I wondered if she had some how implanted a camera in my house to record my life. I am well into my 3rd Kristan Higgins book, binge bought and borrowed from my library to keep on going. How have I survived without KH in my life???

Great book about sisters, family dynamics and how we (and circumstances) screw it all up constantly.
