I was so happy when I received the honor of having Mary Connealy’s newest book Aiming for Love featured on my blog. Mary Connealy is one of my go to authors when I need something to smile about. This book definitely has that aspect in spades, it kept me smiling and laughing through the whole book.
The characters Jo And Dave had such interesting interactions that were so real. Things did not going the way that either of them expected. I thought Dave not quite knowing what to do with Jo’s families ideas was a fun experience as well. Plus all the additional sub characters in this book make it hard to put down as I never knew what was going to happen next. I still totally wish I could do the things that Jo and her sisters could do.
The plot was also very creative to me. I thought the way it was written keeps you wanting more and it gives you more as you read it. Mary Connealy has a way of starting off small and ending with a bang. Personally, I have never read a story quite like this one. But I loved it and I highly recommend picking this one up as a must read.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars for all the happiness it brought to my heart, the laughter of the characters, the very unique premise, and the way in which Mary Connealy was able to convey the message of Christ through out the whole book.

Moira, the middle sister, is pretty amazing. She holds her sisters together, deals with her own grief and takes her destiny in her stride.
As a start of a series I'm impressed. Ninja Girl Adventures has it all, danger, action, family, mystery.....the list goes on! Moira is a good, strong main character that is believable, down to earth and has you firmly on her side.
Through her experiences she is encouraged to believe in herself, use love, not fear to overcome obstacles and to relax so as to feel more in her ninja training and fights.
From the very first paragraph I was hooked, you get straight into the story with background information coming throughout rather than an avalanche straight away. The action is evenly spaced out so you don't go too long without the next thing to keep your interest, yet it isn't so full on that you feel the need to take a break from it.
All the way through I was thinking that something would happen and it did......at the very end, which leaves a nice stepping stone ready for the next installment.....which I can't wait for!
I'd recommend this as a young adult/adult read that is perfect to get your brain working a little and to keep you entertained, whether that be on a cold winter's day in front of the fire or out in the summer sun.
If I could give half scores I would but as I can't I'm going to round this up.....

Why does the town seem to pick on a guy named Ray? Ingrid seems a bit naive about what her sister is doing but she loving her sister and children. Is her sister Belle a murder or looking for easy money? The town seems to think nothing of it when men go missing or think they just leave suddenly.
We do see that Ingrid and Nils seem to connect after meeting each other. They seem to take their time getting to know each other and courting. The plot of this story is deep and detailed. The story is done well. It just seems like found out who the killer is quite quickly. It just seems that Nils had to convince Ingrid and the town sheriff or the real killer and not the one they keep pulling in to question.
There are some surprises when it is all revealed and solved. Though there is still a twist at the end as well. There seem to be a mystery and lots of crimes. This is good in the sense that it tells some history of American crime and historical fiction and crime. It is a true crime. I rate this 4.5 Moons (stars).
