Not integrated with apple health
So far so good
I had a first generation Apple Watch and after 3 years it broke on me. When I started my journey into smart watches I kept thinking of all of the things I wanted my Apple Watch to do and everything that I used in functionality. Ultimately, I decided to try the Fitbit Versa.

One of the things that I love about the Fitbit Versa is that it is a sleep tracker along with a fitness tracker. That was the one thing I always felt was missing with my Apple Watch. I also love the fitbit app more than the apple health app. It gives you great insight and it seems a little more thorough information on your health, steps, floors, and what not.

One thing that I wish is that the battery life really was the 4 days that it promised. I tend to find that my Versa will need charging on that 3rd day. The other thing that I wish was offered was integration with the apple heath app. I don't use it often but I like when things actually work together.

All in all, this has a better battery life than the Apple Watch & some pretty cool screens.

Once again, Madeleine has kept me up way past my bedtime, scared to go to sleep with the lights off. It worries me that I felt so compelled to read Sanctum, the second book in the Asylum series, considering how much I hate being scared. But I did feel compelled and I did read the book - with the lights on, I might add. Of course, to help relieve some of my fear, I did my best to read the whole book in one sitting instead of trying to sleep with unanswered questions scrambling around inside my head. The pictures provided in Sanctum, thankfully, were a lot less creepy than those in Aslyum, though the plot left the same fearful chill. It was pretty amazing to watch everything come together and grow into something so much bigger than I could have ever imagined. Even if I hadn't been aware beforehand that there is a third book, I would immediately know that Dan's story is not over - not when he still possesses that red stone. I don't claim to be a fortune teller, but I foresee more trouble heading Dan's way and I have a feeling that stone is at the center of it. It'll be interesting to see how Madeleine intertwines more into this already complex story. I look forward to unraveling more of Daniel Crawford's mysteries.

When I read [Robert King's] [Time Ahead] my first thought was Rip van Winkle. The idea of falling to sleep and waking up in another time. As I read on I realized that I missed the existentialism that was so present in my younger years. Reading this was like a breath of fresh air for me. This may sound odd since it is a dark and depressing view to most people. The style [King] wrote it was truly engaging and there were points when the irony made me laugh out loud. This type of writing is very rare to come across and even more having it done well.

Finding humour in difficult times
This is a book that tells it like it is: the long hours, no sleep, the volume of work, the responsibility, the gory, gruesome bits, the humour, the sadness and the stress. We take for granted that the NHS and our doctors will always be there, but after reading this book, I find myself with even more respect for the doctors and nurses in our hospitals, and the care they give us even when they’re tired and stressed.
This is very funny though, and I think a lot of humour is probably used by doctors - whatever gets them through their long shifts!

Wow! Sylvain Neuvel has done it again! I was so excited when I was approved for this ARC because I absolutely LOVE these books and Only Human is just as magnificent as the first two. I started reading it earlier this afternoon and finished it at a little after 1am; I couldn't sleep without knowing how it ended!

I'll post a longer review closer to the release date, I need a minute to process all my thoughts on this one. Just know that it is an incredible end to an amazing trilogy!

**Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC!! All opinions are my own.**
