Accacia’s curse ( sisters of Hex book 1)
By Bea Paige
Once read a review will be written via Smashbomb and link posted in comments
Born with a rare blood disorder that means she cannot go out in daylight, Accacia has learned to live in the dark, even if it has been incredibly lonely. Determined to find a cure that will finally allow her to walk in the sun, Accacia has spent her days and nights holed up in her laboratory doing just that.
After a freak encounter with a tall, dark, and ridiculously handsome stranger, Accacia might just have found her cure, but not in the way she expected. Drawn into a parallel world of paranormal creatures and a Queen who wants her dead, Accacia has to put her trust in three vampires who, seemingly, want to devour her in more ways than one.
It wasn’t bad! I enjoyed the whole idea of the characters and story. If I had one point that nagged at me was the constant need for Accacia to sleep with Rhain yes I get the whole saving him etc but felt it a bit pushy! I did love Devin though! I think now they are in the other world things will get interesting I’m looking forward to meeting these other clans!

It's great but I fell sleep
For years I have been adamant that McGuire was THE Spiderman since I didn't like Garfield's version.
However, when this one popped up on Netflix one Saturday evening, I thought "why the heck not." I wasn't disappointed. It is really difficult not to like Tom Holland. An I biased because he's British? No. The kid was talent. He is funny, can do impressive tricks and a professional dancer... it's no wonder why they chose him. But let's swing back into the review shall we?
So Pete is trying hard to be noticed by our MCU's Stark after the events of Cival War. (I fell asleep watching that too but that's a review for another day.) He swings into action, sort of accidentally causing more trouble than saving it but you can't deny he wants to help people.
The SFX were okay but the whole build up to the fight at the end literally brought me to sleepy land. It may hold your attention for that brief moment but I woke up wondering where Gwyneth Paltrow came from and was she in this movie the whole time?
Other than that, Holland has become my favourite Spidey. I haven't seen far from home yet but I do hope it lives up to this version of the friendly neighbourhood spiderman.

*I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*
This wasn't my usual book despite me reading most things romance. It didn't focus mainly on the romance, which may have been my issue with it.
But it also felt a little messed up. It didn't read that smoothly for me--this could be down to it being from Netgalley and not a final version of the book--and struggled to get into it until a good quarter of the way into it.
I may need to sleep on it until I can get my thoughts in better order.
So I slept on it and I'm still unsure of how I feel about it. I didn't gel with it much but I had to keep reading just to see how it was all going to play out. Would her mum come back? Would they be found out about living alone? Who was the person/people who were helping Lucille and Wren with the food and stuff? Would she end up in a relationship with Digby?
All of these questions get answered but afterwards I was just wondering what the message is in the story and I still haven't managed to work it out. Is there a message to be learned in it? I'm not sure.

Flashing Lights Soo Many
Warning- this movie has alot, i mean alot of flashing lights and you will probley get a headache from it. So if youre knowed to have seizures dont go into this movie because all of the Strobes lights. I had a major headache after this movie. Their is a warning before the movie though so thank god for that.
Anyways what did i think of the movie. I thought it was good, to long though sitting at 2h and 50mins long, it is long. And most of the gci is bad, i mean really bad. Some of it is good, but most of it is bad, what happened?
Bill hader and Bill Skarsgard are the best part of this movie. The other cast is good, but hader and skarsgard kill it.
So this movie was going to be 4hrs long, yea 4 freaking hrs. The director had to cut some of the film to make it 2hrs and 50mins long. And yes their will be a directors cut.
Also stephen king makes a cameo and is the funniest part and the best part of the film
This dont live up to the 2017 film. I mean its good, but has alot of problems.
Cant wait for Doctor Sleep though and hopefully thats good.

It's sweet (2 more)
Family friendly
Has some funny moments
Good for a hopeless romantic like me
So I've wanted to see this for ages as it's Tom Hanks and I think he's a fantastic actor. It's sweet, makes you smile, some points even laugh. It's not something I think I'd actually crave to watch, if it's on TV I'd watch it kind of thing. I have an issue with the beginning. The first meeting with the two main characters, doesn't seem to be as important. She remembers and he doesn't (or doesn't believe it) but the meeting is so brief, why is it so significant to her? She cries when he leaves, she spent like 7 seconds with the boy. The ending isn't ideal either, he just swims alongside a mermaid for the rest of his life? I get when he's with her he's safe but how is he supposed to eat and sleep? Plus the dynamic of their relationship is quite physical, when they are both humans (lets not quibble about that) it's possible. I assume that id they were both merpeople it would also be possible but as mermaid and man they don't really have that anymore. Can't have kids either like he wanted. Probably reading too much into it but still, these things made it's overall rating less for me.
