"The Japanese New Wave is almost synonymous with Nagisa Oshima. His film In the Realm of the Senses outraged critics and audiences alike with its many scenes of unsimulated sex. Here he takes similar themes of lust and murderous passion and explores them through the supernatural, crafting a ghost story that puts Japanese society and cultural conventions on trial in a masterful way. Who are the criminals here? Those who dare to pursue their feelings and impulses, or the society that forbids them the freedom to do just that?"

I think Watchmen is a marvelous graphic novel about the idolization of heroes in society. We praise heroes, but what happens when they are not necessarily the good guys? Are you wrong for rooting for justice, rather than goodness?

The film remains a great character study of a man who suffers from PTSD and can't integrate back into society

Takes you for a ride
It's a seemingly accurate descent into total madness by a barely stable mentally unwell individual who was failed by everyone in his life including both society and personal folks.

"The explosion in the number of the elderly Americans will transform our society. This book shows us what we must do to ensure that the elderly and their caregivers—mostly immigrant women of color—can live with both dignity and respect."
