Yummy and hott. Two best words to describe this book. I don't normally enjoy historical books...I'm not big into that genre for some reason but this one caught me and held me and made me read it until it was over. The author has a way with words that is amazing. The characters were so tasty ;) and I really enjoyed the storyline. I cannot wait to see what else this author writes. Very good and I recommend it to everyone who enjoys a good romance.

The way Estelliam writes just hooks you and will not let go. This is the second Alex Hope book and it was even better than the first, which was pretty amazing. Some authors struggle to mix romance with the suspense/mystery but Estelliam gets just the right mix so that one aspect doesn't over ride the other. The charcters are well developed and keep growing as the books progress. The setting is almost a character in itself because it plays a vital part in the story.

I was expecting some blood, gore, violence, and monsters (as you would expect from a novel written by a master of horror) and it was all there, but this isn't strictly a horror novel. It was more of an intriguing paranormal thriller, combined with romance and plenty of drama. The suspense kept me hooked and the believable characters left me thinking about them long after I finished reading the story. I haven't read many Koontz novels, but will definitely be reading more after this one.

Story in general
This is my first John Green read and I quite enjoyed it. I had heard a lot about this book before I read it and tried to start it a while ago but put it down for some reason. I’m glad I picked it up again and read it through. I really liked how strong the characters were, I liked that the story did fully focus on the romance between the characters and I’m happy with how the book ended.

Odd Thriller
I've put off seeing this for a while as it seems to have mixed reviews. Ambitious perhaps but a film that tries to fit too many genres. The first 2/3 of the film are ok. You think is this going to be a film about a spurred, crazy lover. Or maybe some elaborate conspiracy theory, a romance even. In the final 3rd though it all goes a bit odd and in a direction that didn't fit the rest of the film.

Hmm...

I loved how May could take care of herself when she needed to, despite looking like some sort of airhead. I loved the teasing between her and pretty much everyone.

I just felt a little disappointed in the romance. There wasn't enough for my liking. Fair enough she's crazy enough to love as is but I didn't really feel it. They felt more like they should be best buds or something.

I do love the authors use of humour in her books though.

Wow.

I have adored this series since the first book. So much happens. Love. Friendship. Death. So much time passes.

I loved all the Nephilim, all for different reasons, and I have a feeling this story will stay with me for a while.

A classic tale of good versus evil with a brilliant plot and characters. I loved the ending, some bits were sad and others were lovely. The romance was uplifting.

If you haven't read this series yet, then I definitely recommend you do.

AMAZING!

I loved The Flatshare. It's a perfect light, romantic, beach-read type of novel. I hadn't read a full-length novel in awhile, so I wanted something fun and generally easy to get into. The Flatshare was a great pick. It is a romance, but not an overly sweetsy, ridiculous one. I didn't get any cavities from it. Lol The way it was written made the story flow smoothly and quickly, but it still seemed like I was reading something that had some substance. I enjoyed it!
