I officially <b>adore</b> this series. It is brilliant, filled with action, drama, romance...what more could a girl ask for? I certainly couldn't anyway :D
It's been one hell of a journey from Forsaken to this one and I've loved every roller coasting minute of it, though sometimes I have to admit I wanted to bang Beck and Riley's heads together in the hopes of knocking some sense into them where the other was concerned but hey, it all worked out in the end!
I'm sad it's come to an end but happy that the end of the world was averted by this pair :P
Due to this series, I am now a big fan of the author and I'm looking forward to reading others by her including Briar Rose when it arrives in the post :D

4.25 stars.
This book was good. If you don't mind a book that's race-filled and less on the romance and more on the action, which with this I didn't.
I had a few issues with it. Samantha was a bit annoying at times and totally oblivious to some things. And how Jonathan talked--which isn't that big a deal, I know, but I'm English and when I ask questions I NEVER end it with "Yes". Does anyone do that?!
Other than that though, I got really into Samantha's journey from winner of everything small circuit, to F1 test driver to F1 racing driver. She deserved it and she earned it. She overcame many issues and grew up a lot.
I've noticed that there's a second book in the series and would like to read that too.

When I read the description of this book I was really excited to read it. But what I noticed that the book description provided, actually gives away all book, no mystery left. This is a short light love story which would be great as a movie script for Hallmark Channel. Unfortunately it did not impress me. The characters in the book were quite weak and not very interesting. I thought this book supposed to be festive, but all festivity was wrapped up into one chapter, last chapter to be accurate. It would’ve been good if some twists and drama would’ve been involved. I think it was quite corny and not very original story. To conclude, it is a good book if you into something to pass your time with a little bit of fun and romance.

A shy teenager falls for someone who transforms into another person every day.
David Levithan knows how to write around good subject matter. Consistently pleasing novels that make excellent movies. And this one was no exception to that.
The feel good factor about this one is high. And while I love a good romance I find it difficult to believe that even a hormonal teenager would choose to believe such a wild story.
"I wake up every morning in someone else's body." A plot point with lots of potential story lines. But lots that I think I would have enjoyed more than this. That fact doesn't take away that I enjoyed this a lot.
A film with no end and no beginning though... why are you guys doing this to me? Where was the origin story? Where was some resolution?

Awix (3310 KP) rated Bell-Bottom George (1943) in Movies

George Formby vehicle in need of a tune-up. George, who as ever is playing a good-hearted Lancastrian simpleton ukulele master, joins the navy by accident, stumbles across a nest of Nazi spies, and saves a new submarine from being sunk, while getting the girl and doing a few comic songs along the way.
These days I suspect most people only watch George Formby films for the one-liners and the musical numbers - but the script here is thin, and Formby doesn't play the uke in half the songs (which mostly aren't that good either). All the usual elements turn up - chases, slapstick, unlikely romance, etc - but the movie feels padded even at only 97 minutes long and it's just not consistently funny enough. Still, the second world war saw some terrible disasters, and this is far from the worst of them.
