I officially adore this series. It is brilliant, filled with action, drama, romance...what more could a girl ask for? I certainly couldn't anyway :D

It's been one hell of a journey from Forsaken to this one and I've loved every roller coasting minute of it, though sometimes I have to admit I wanted to bang Beck and Riley's heads together in the hopes of knocking some sense into them where the other was concerned but hey, it all worked out in the end!

I'm sad it's come to an end but happy that the end of the world was averted by this pair :P

Due to this series, I am now a big fan of the author and I'm looking forward to reading others by her including Briar Rose when it arrives in the post :D

Friends with the monsters ( friends with monsters book 1)
By Albany Walker

Gather round close, for I have a secret to tell.

Late at night, while everyone is sleeping, dreaming of white knights and fairytales. I’m making friends with the monsters.

They call to me, like finds like, right? My biggest secret, I’m the scariest monster I know.

I think I’m the bad guy.

MFMM Reverse Harem novel with adult themes not recommended for those under 18.

Ok so this starts off a little strange and give mixed signals. It was quirky but on sometimes a little try hard. I was so curious about where it was going I stuck with it! I was pleasantly surprised to find I actually liked it! The sexual tension was dealt with very well!! Looking forward to more!

"When stories become iconic, you sometimes forget what made them so special in the first place. They can become the punch line to a joke. But A Tale of Two Cities not only has the best first line ever written—’It was the best of times, it was the worst of times’—it’s got everything! The novel has wine, guillotines, revolution! It has the storming of the Bastille! It has Madame Defarge, one of the best villains in any literary novel. At the end, it’s got a little romantic switcheroo: One man stands in the place of another and dies for the woman he loves. The first line is fitting right now. It’s a very have and have-not time. It’s certainly the most hopeful period for our country but also a very bleak one for a lot of people"

"It's not just an album to me; it's like a movie. It's a whole story—there's cruel, tragic storytelling. I listened to it for the first time in Berlin. Sometimes when I travel, I like to find things that relate to where I am. So I listened to this, and for the whole afternoon, I was like, Oh man. How am I going to leave the apartment? Something changed after I listened to this album. I love Lou Reed, because his voice sounds like your inner conscience. When I read a book, it's Lou Reed's voice narrating it. It's very intimate. I can't really listen to this album casually. It's like going to a museum and seeing a painting that really means something to you—a sacred moment. I don't have many albums that do that for me."

Another one I've picked up from various bookstagrams and actually I think this one nearly lives up to the hype. The story is good and I really want to learn more about Erilea, I have already started the second book to carry on the story.

Celeana is a good character and so great to have such a kick ass female protagonist. I think some of her back story needs to be uncovered and quickly, its quite frustrating that this hasn't been explored already. I also find she sometimes goes through emotions very quickly.

I love the dynamics between characters, although I find some of the writing very obvious (perhaps due to YA genre).

I didn't see some of the events coming and I am really excited for the next book.
