Zuky the BookBum (15 KP) rated The Monkey's Paw: Short Story in Books

Can you believe that I'd never heard of this short before and knew nothing of the plot what-so-ever, before today? Well it's the truth. I think being so ignorant to it made me love it more. I got completely immersed in the story and the lives of our caring and lonely White's.
The panic felt in this book translates to the reader so much so that you find yourself short of breath, praying, hoping, that the front door stays shut.
Excellent horror short, well worth taking 10 minutes out of you day to read.

It's super simple to set up and play, all you need to do is get your letter tiles ready. This game does tend to favor those with an immense vocabulary and those who can spell. It is educational and fun though because playing with others can help you add some new words to your own vocabulary. Be prepared to search through dictionaries if your friend plays a word you don't accept. The way my family plays, we also use a dictionary close to the end of the game to use up our last few tiles, but I think that may be against the rules. Overall, 10/10 would recommend!
