WOW I was surprised by this one. I read this for a book club, after being recommended to read it a few times because I loved ACOTAR so much. I ended up loving this as well!! It's such an interesting story and I'm definitely going to be continuing the series. With that being said, one of the pros listed as reasons to read this book was that it was super spicy, and with that I'll have to disagree. The sexual tension is there, sure. But the actual steamy scenes didn't start until the last 100 pages and even then they weren't as outrageous as I'd been told. So if you're purely here for spice, I urge you to stay for the plot. If that doesn't matter to you then I recommend this for sure!

HIS FATED MATE is a short and spicy novella, detailing insta lust/love between a fledgling vampire and his fated mate.

There are some snippets that may lead elsewhere in forthcoming books, but for this one, it's a snapshot of Evan and Alexander, showing just how the bond snaps into place, and how it feels. It also dips into what the consequences might be, but nothing major.

If you're looking for a short, steamy, raw, and intense novella that introduces you to this author, then I can definitely recommend this one.

Wet by Stacy Kestwick is such a fun book! It's so hard to believe this is her first book.

Sadie and West are fabulous characters! They are both so full of life and easy to relate to in their own ways. Their story is super, spicy, full of witty banter, and very sexy.
Rue and Theo are great supporting characters. They helped shape and make the story what it was. I saw a lot of myself in Rue and her clever attitude and as a result she was one of my favorite characters.
The settings throughout the book were described in such a way that I could imagine myself there as part of the book.

I am a huge fan of Stacy Kestwick and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us!
