An Amazing Spider-Man Film
I wasn't the biggest fan of Homecoming. It was a good film but lacked something to put it on the level of the best Marvel films. This however is definitely up there with the best of the them and one of the best Spider-man films. Coming so soon after Endgame and set a short while after those events it had a lot to live up to.
The action scenes are great as Spider-man leaves his neighbourhood and battles all over Europe. It still has plenty of funny lighthearted moments. It also deals with Spider-Man coming to terms of being a superhero and trying to have a normal teenage life. Overall another great Marvel film that's up with the best of them. Scenes after the animated credits and another after the final credits to wait for.

What an end to the phase
Im a massive Marvel fan and have to say I love this version of Spider-man, this film was a great end to the infinity saga and was really a coming of age for Spider-man. I saw a lot of the plot twists coming but one in big one caught me by surprise! Triangle sandwiches anyone?

The second of the two Andrew Garfield starring Spider-Man movies, this is also - by a fair margin - the worst of the now eight (3 Tobey Maguire, 2 Andrew Garfield, 3 Tom Holland) Spider-Man movies.
Rhino is wasted.
Electro - despite Jamie Foxx's best efforts - is forgettable.
Harry Osborne just comes across as a whiny spoilt brat.
Shocking ending, though, with what happens to Gwen (even if you were expecting it).

This was how a Spider-Man movie with Mysterio should be done. As an avid Spider-Man fan I was not disappointed in this movie like I was with Homecoming. The battle sequences were top notch. The struggles of Peter after the death of Tony was great. They did such a great job of making this fit into the MCU. Mysterio was affected by Tony in a way you don't expect. Even the "love story" angle wasn't overbearing. The love of MJ and Peter. They icing on the cake for me was seeing J.K. Simmons as Jameson once again as he accused Spider Man of murder and exposed secret identity. Yes that is how it ended. I know it's beating a dead horse but the "political correctness" still bothers me but I am so glad Sony and Marvel worked something out for the future of the Spider man franchise

The second of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films is a shining example of a comic book sequel outshining it's predecessor. Everything is better, the set pieces, the characters, the effects, and the stakes are higher.
Spider-Man 2 owes a lot to Alfred Molina. His performance as Otto Octavius, and later, Doctor Octopus is pure villainous perfection, whilst lending the character a sympathetic undertone. Spider-Man has a fantastic rogues gallery to chooses from, and Doc Ock is one of the more complicated ones. This movie does the character justice.
Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, J.K. Simmons and Rosemary Harris all return from the first film and all cement their positions in movie history as these beloved comic characters.
The effects look a little dated by today's standards, but they're still more than passable, and another great score by Danny Elfman is the cherry on top.
Spider-Man 2 is both a strong sequel, and a strong comic book adaption.

Reclaim what is rightfully yours, Marvel!
He's a teen! He sucks at life! Being Spider-Man is burdensome!
I'll give it this: that's pretty damned close to perfect as far as the writing goes. That said, I'm sure Sony will screw it up, like that time they shoehorned in Venom into SM3 for toy purposes and ruined it. Sigh.
