Tobey Macguire is the only Spider-man I accept as the one true Spidey. I absolutely love this movie. It came out at an interesting time, as it had to be edited to remove the World Trade Centers. I liked the origin story they went with, and I liked Franco as Harry.

back on form for spidey
spidey back on form
spiderman homecoming, a return to form for the webslinger after a series of disapointing movies. Not since spiderman 2 has there been such a good version of the character. Is it as good as those films know but in terms of the 3rd rami film and the mark webb films this movies is head and shoulder above them. Tom holland is perfectly cast as the hero. He balances the awkwardness and geeky charm of peter parker mixed with the wisecracking and heroism of spidey perfectly. Michael Keaton plays a rare beast a good mcu villian. He plays it so well you hate what he is doing but you can feel for the guy because of what he has been through. all other characters fit there purpose even a small role from iron man brings more connection with the wider mcu and helps further the story. I like the fact they went with the more john hughs feel with this movie. Its good there keeping the character in high school because in my opinion they skipped over that two fast in previous films.
my only criticism is that i found the spiderman suit too gimmicky. he is spiderman not iron spiderman.
in all this is a great film. with a fantastic cast and a great entry into the mcu. I look forward to more spidey in the future.

spidey is back and has some new tech its a fun rollercoaster ride but it seemed like it was aimed at a younger audience and the tech he has seemed more like ironman on the whole its a fun film and has some real class actors which help but i was really expecting a lot more from this film

Spiderman 6
I liked it less than 1 2 3 4 but more than 5.it seems like they went after the young teenage crowd.he was a teenager and i love that they put humor in it for once .but a little too muchalittle too much tony stark and the avengers.and i really didnt feel like the villians were bad enough.im sorry i like my super heros darker.and excpcially the bad guys .

Yet another unnecessary Spider-Man movie. The entire point of this movie was to set up for Infinity War. The movie was entertaining, and Tom Holland was a good Spidey. Ned was one of the best parts as well. Batman, I mean, Michael Keaton, was a fairly solid villain. I felt like the casting of Zendaya was unnecessary, and wait, plot twist, she's MJ.
I could live my entire life without having to see Tony Stark in another damn movie, but alas, he's at least in Infinity War.

Tom Hollands performance (3 more)
The downtime that shows that spidey is still a kid
A back story and characterisation for the villian
The comedy
Battle scenes that don't have suspense (2 more)
Repetitive battle scenes
Feels really out of place in the timeline
The Best Spider-Man yet?
Honestly, this is not as good as Sam Raimi's Spider-man 2 which is amazing but it is in close second/third out of them all. I'm not saying this film isn't enjoyable because it is but it just was okay, very simple and unique, like deadpool per say.

Spidey is finally following the Marvel formula
If you're hoping for a perfect movie, brace yourself for disappointment.
If you want to see a Spider-Man movie as close to how it should be as possible, this should make you happy.
The movie was a blast. Good fun. Great cast.
My biggest complaint was the suit. It was a little too IronMan for my tastes.
The groundwork is set, Spider-Man is back home where he belongs...and little teases about the direction of the franchise are scattered throughout for the observant nerd.

Finally a decent Spiderman movie
Tom Holland is a spectacular Spiderman he is the closest to the comic version out of all the actors to portray the character. I was unsure about Michael Keaton as Toomes/Vulture at first but he was excellent. The addition of Tony Stark and Happy was a great idea but not necessarily needed, it feels they were added to get the bums on seats in case it failed. All in all, the action and thrills you expect from Marvel/Disney and then some. I loved the Sam Raimi trilogy, and i cant wait to see what Jon Watts can do with his incarnation of Spidey
