Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Lemon (2017) in Movies
Sep 21, 2017
Although guaranteed to split critics and viewers alike, nobody can argue that Bravo and Gelman haven’t put their all into this absurdist, existential farce. The question remains: Will Lemon make or break that all-important first date comedy connection?

Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Split (2016) in Movies
Jun 21, 2017
Split is almost faultless, for me it stutters just a little right towards the end, but it doesn’t ruin the film. To end of film like this was always going to be hard and kudos to Shyamalan for delivering a respectable ending

Good, but complicated
The cast is great and work well together, but the DM is a little railroad-y. Three plot is complicated, and it gets even more so when the party is split. It's also really produced, with lots of discussion and play cut. It's not my favorite D&D podcast, but it's still good.

I loved the split POV for this book between Riley and Dez. I enjoyed the multiply storylines that ran through the book, giving it a very real feel as they dealt and reacted with different aspects of their lives. The ending was very real and honest. I will be looking out for other books by Dawn Klehr.

Glass (2019) sets out to shatter the superhero paradigm. #Review
Closer in tone and intent to “Unbreakable” than its immediate predecessor “Split”, “Glass” sees filmmaker M Night Shyamalan returning to the world of comic book super heroics, not to homage or reimagine them, but to deconstruct them - especially their latest cinematic incarnations....

Pleasantly Surprised
I have always enjoyed M. Night Shyamalan's movies. And I am so sorry I haven't gotten around to watching it until now. I can't really put into words how good this is. Unlike any other hero film I've seen. Definitely gonna have to rewatch 'Split'..and I'm even more excited to see 'Glass'.
