"Waking Ned Devine. Loved it. There’s something about aged, experienced, mature people acting like kids. This whole town bands together to pull a ruse, to win a lottery ticket and split lottery ticket winnings; it was kind of morally wrong, and yet also giddy and made you clap your hands and say, “Go you guys, go!”"

I can still remember how excited I got at the end of Split when Bruce Willis surprisingly appeared on screen as his character from Unbreakable, for it was at that moment I knew we now had a trilogy on our hands. Glass was a perfect third edition and I walked out with a huge smile on my face.

The grand-daddy of the Marvel TV shows (no longer canon?)
The grand-daddy of the Marvel TV shows which, while it started out connected to the mainline cinema offerings, eventually split off and became its own thing somewhere after the events of Thor: The Dark World (at least, that's the last time I remember their being a direct correlation from the events shown in the films!); definitely after the time of 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' (which is where the show suddenly 'took off').

It's also hard to rate as a whole, with some season better than others, and with the alter seasons themselves often split into 'mini-seasons'.

For me, the best season was probably either the one with the Framework, or with Ghost Rider (finally done properly!).

Thank God these movies are over
Another movie I got dragged to this year by my better half, I haven’t seen part one of this two part movie, but I could still tell it was a book that had been split into two parts. Uninteresting characters and performances and naff source material makes this one to miss.

Quite a strange tale. This film brings together a man just split from his cheating wife who is a farmer and ex-musician and a young white girl who seems to be a bit of a nymphomaniac! It's a good film about a very unusual friendship that can restore the both of them on the right path for the future.

It does drag, the book is quite slow too and to split it into two films drags it out even more, but the author would not let anyone edit the book down and wanted everything in the film. At least the film did mirror the book unlike other films where they edit it down so much it is so different from the book.
