Pucked Off is the story of the sweet and haunted Lance and sports physio Poppy. Lance met Poppy when he was at his lowest, recovering not only from a sports injury playing ice hockey, but also when he was struggling to recover from the emotional abuse that seemed to follow him through his life.

Whilst this is predominantly part of a comical and erotic driven romance series, there is something sweet about this edition to the series. It allows this kind genuine man, surrounded by his "family" of ice hockey players and their partners, getting the girl of his dreams, a girl who will nurture and support him even on his darkest days. But will it be smooth running? Will it be a happy ending?

Helena Hunting again demonstrates her sense of humour and wickedness with Pucked Off, leaving the reader in stitches whilst their heart melts. Really enjoyed this story and couldn't think of a cuter pair!

This is the first book in this series by this author. This is a contemporary sports romance read. This book has very likeable characters, you will fall in love with as you read. I enjoyed this story and couldn't put this book down till I'd finished it. I can't wait to read more in this series and by this author in the future.
Highly recommended

The dramatised events leading up to the 1973 match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, and their personal lives.

I laughed. I cried. And this is another film that makes me want to watch more like it. For some reason I've always been a fan of sports films, and this one is right up the top of that list now. It's interesting and beautifully portrayed by all the actors. Well worth a watch.

1994 | Documentary, Drama

"I’m a documentary freak. Two-thirds of the movies I watch are documentaries. Hoop Dreams is a sweeping, stirring, myopic study of two young men on differing paths, both with dreams of becoming NBA players. It is, of course, not so much about basketball as the personal and social struggles of two young men attempting to do what so many young men try to do every year. Uplifting and tragic, it may be the best sports documentary ever."

A very lovely coming of age story, centering on Dottie, a child of divorced parents. The story is told in a series of nearly 100 vignettes, each of which is filled with wit and vulnerability. During the course of the novel, Dottie struggles with moving, poverty, an alcoholic stepfather, questioning her sexuality, race relations, playing sports, and her relationship with her mother, half-brother, and stepsister. Her character exhibits amazing grace and presence of mind as she continually questions the world around her.

I love this service. I honestly can't attest to the free services other that it is somewhat similar to Pandora. If you can afford the $10 scratch per month, then get this service. It is worth every cent.

Scenes I like to see
Been watching reruns on netflix it makes me laugh alot mind some of the episodes are out of date with the politics of say five years ago when it was even more funny then but it's good comedy panel show. The best part is the scenes I would like to see where u get like a sports commentator saying something he wouldn't normally say during comentary. Anyway good show

Very balenced documentary
This documentary follows up where Faster finished it sensitively deals with the risks riders take the injuries and death that happened in the 2 seasons covered. As a Moto GP fan it added insight as to how the death of rider effected the others, but anyone could pick this up and start watching. If you are interested in why people do jobs or sports where they could or often are injured this could be of interest to you.
