Pieces of Me is the second book in the Missing Pieces series and you need to read book one before you start on this one. It starts where book one finished and is a continuation of Justin's recovery and how Dallas is coping with everything and everyone.

Although this has the same characters and situations in it, the story is different enough to keep my attention. Finding out more about what Dallas has to cope with on the business side, plus what Justin deals with, made this all the more real for me. Life is tough without any 'easy answers' magically appearing. Dallas has to rob Peter to pay Paul and juggle his credit cards too. I loved that part, like I said, making it real.

This was a brilliant addition to the series and I thoroughly enjoyed how Dallas and Justin's story moved along at a steady pace. There is a bit more steam in this one as Justin's body and mind start to remember Dallas.

A fantastic story that has me gripped. Can't wait to continue. Absolutely recommended by me.

Amongst the Chaos is a standalone (I think) but could be part of a series. (I hope it is part of a series and I want to more about these guys.) It is also the first book by this author I have read but it won't be the last.

The character building in this book is second to none. It was obvious what was going on between Asher and Chloe but the tense expectation about killed me! It was definitely a case of when and not if. Grayson was a brilliant character who supported Chloe in all ways but wasn't afraid to show his emotions. This was sometimes detrimental to his own cause but he owned it.

Paige and Dom are two brilliant supporting characters, the same as the rest of the 'brothers'. And just because he irritated me, I'd love to know more about Gabe!

This was a great, page-turning story that kept my attention from the very beginning with excellent scene-setting and amazing characters and full of suspense and steam. I loved every moment of this and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Between this and the similarly experimental delirium of π˜›π˜©π˜¦ π˜ˆπ˜‰π˜Šπ˜΄ 𝘰𝘧 π˜‹π˜¦π˜’π˜΅π˜©, I'm convinced that Ant Timpson is onto something - I'm fine standing alone in really buying into his brand even though no one else seems to. I have the same major gripe here that I did with the latter movie though... cool it with the sex stuff, bro. It's funny a fair amount of times but not when it seems to be the only thing going on time after time after time after you'd already abandoned the enticing mystery of the first half way too abruptly. Otherwise this was awesome, the type of kooky but oh-so-lurid genre-bender that we used to see a lot of from 2011-2014 but sort of just dropped right off the planet at a certain point. One mega-mack daddy of a twist, rich visuals, a solid sense of humor, and all grounded by Elijah Wood's next-level performance (and intrinsically hilarious haircut). The first half is exquisitely tantalizing but it admittedly loses steam in the second half for me, which still has its assets in its own way of course (hey at least it's grisly). But none of that really matters too much because it wraps up on such a perfect moment. Flawed but *very* groovy.
