"When I saw Palmieri interviewed on the Rachel Maddow Show, I started crying. This book doesn’t take the sting off November 8, 2016, but Palmieri lays out a very touching, emotional, and informative road map to get us back to the mindset where we believed our first female President will become a reality."

One of the best albums I have ever had the pleasure to hear. Sting has once again proven himself an epic narrator and artist. This album calms my soul and invigorates me at the same time, somehow.

"And then, I guess, The Sting is the next one I gotta say. This was for me, and probably for a lot of people, at least of our generation, our first exposure to con men movies was from The Sting. It really holds up. Like a lot of the movies on this list, it holds up because of the central relationship, because of the Newman-Redford thing. Watching those two guys together, even though at this point, plotwise, I would be fairly… Well, I don’t know. I wonder, if someone saw The Sting clean for the first time today, now with all the movies that have imitated it in the years since, whether anyone would actually kind of say “Oh my God” at the end of it. I don’t know, but I don’t know that it would matter, because I think the fun of the film is in the game playing, and specifically in the way that these two guys play off of each other. It seems like something that’s particularly vulnerable, just because of the twist, the nature of the end. But like I said, that’s not really what makes the movie tick, oddly enough. It holds up just as a really fun ride."

"Dawkins explains how the selfish gene can also be a subtle gene. The world of the selfish gene revolves around savage competition, ruthless exploitation, and deceit, and yet, Dawkins argues, acts of apparent altruism do exist in nature. Bees, for example, will commit suicide when they sting to protect the hive, and birds will risk their lives to warn the flock of an approaching hawk."

"Well that was a big influence for their take on Americana, and I just like the juxtaposition of their extreme Britishness and singing about Oklahoma. And it's funny, Ian Svenonius has this whole thing about how Americans only accepted black music once it was taught to us by our British overlords. The Beatles and The Stones lacked the context to realise that maybe it's inappropriate to take on this Southern accent. I feel like Ray Davies has a little more tact, like, "No, I'm not going to sing like that!" A lot of the time I will sing in a kind of an English accent - not total English, but definitely more English than country, because my context is growing up and listening to The Beatles and thinking I like the way John Lennon sings it. It's easier not to sing a hard "r", it always sounds country when you sing an "arr". I would never do a Jamaican accent. I'll leave that to Sting. Once again, see we forgive Sting, 'cause he doesn't have the context."

Just watched wow as I originally saw the orignal David lynch version back in the 80s the one sting and thinking this was a good movie back then. now I've seen the new version and I would have to say this version is far superior especially in the effects department they can do stuff that the orignal couldn't back then. As I watched in 4dx 3d which could get bumpy at times after 2 and half hours. Overall good movie bring on part 2

Watching reruns on the WWE network WWE main rival during the Monday night wars when wcw nitro was beating raw every Monday night due to the popularity of the new world order and Hollywood Hulk Hogan but over time it got stale and repetitive and silly due to stars egos eventually wcw was brought up by WWE and no more nitro which was a shame. Still classic 90s wrestling nwo for life

"She’s got an album out called 'Vows,' and 'Settle Down's' music video is just really creative and really different. I just thought it was a rad song. I actually will say with pride that I was on the ['Somebody That I Used To Know'] train before it took off, too. I found out about it from some friends, on a Facebook post, before it was even getting radio play… [Gotye] sounded a little bit like Sting to me, and I was excited to see that it did so well."

Rolling Stone's 448th greatest album of all time
The Police's final album and you can tell that the band have started to go in different directions. Sting has largely disappeared, rectally, and the songs all show a much slower pace than their post-punk origins, showing more jazz influence and much more laid back in general. Oddly, all the recognisable singles (the massive "Every Breath You Take", "King of Pain" and "Wrapped Around Your Finger") are squeezed in at the end of the album, with not much of interest coming before those.

Watched this week for the first time ever I must put off watching for so long but when I heard it was being shown on the tv thought I would give it a shot anyway good film with young upcoming cast at the time who would go on bigger things including sting of the police but for me the soundtrack is one of the selling points of the movie the who themselves who not produced the movie but also the music heard thruout the movie overall good movie
