"Blake Crouch knows how to write sci-fi thrillers that will have you desperately turning the pages long into the night. (And that’s as someone who doesn’t even like that many sci-fi stories or thrillers.) Recursion is out of this world fascinating and kept me guessing even to the very end."

"Francis Ford Coppola, man. Just the stories that happened on that set. And the soundtrack that they use in that film is so f**king cool. Great performances and a wonderful, entrancing movie — Brando and Dennis Hopper and Duvall. “I love the smell of napalm in the morning” — what a great quote."

"And then the last one, Rushmore. There’s great performances in it, but Bill Murray, I think, just hung the moon. I just love the style of the piece. It’s so beautifully shot, so funny, so unusual, loopy. I love big, loopy stories that are not neat and tidy. They really appeal to me."

The very best
Absolutely incredible. Based on historical stories and delivered incredibly, this will be watched and adored for decades to come. From the beginning you see Ragnar grow and slowly become unhinged in an acting masterclass. It's incredibly acted, casted, written, it's just perfect

Been spending a lot of time reading young adult fiction... didn’t realise how dark and graphic some of the material is... makes for good reading! Really been enjoying noon-fiction to, stories from doctors, pathologists, paramedics and prison workers! What are you reading at the moment?? What are you watching?? Inspire me...
