Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2387 KP) rated Monk: The Official Episode Guide in Books
Mar 9, 2018
An entertaining look at the episodes and behind the scenes stories from the first four seasons of the show. Obviously, it is outdated now since it only has half the episodes, but it is still fun for what it is.

Caffeinated Fae (464 KP) rated The Transfer (Divergent, #0.1) in Books

I really like Tobias and I'm glad that I read this short story. It was really interesting to read about Tobias and find out his feelings. I really wish that this was longer, 100 pages would have been nice but a full length novel would be the best. I guess I will just have to wait to read the other short stories.

This show is amazing. The one shots at the beginning aren't my favorites, but they are far overshadowed by the two ongoing stories. It's amazing that both shows are so different and so good. I look forward to every release. I've been in the middle of another podcast before, noticed there was a new Penumbra, and switched. It's that good.

Nicki257 (0 KP) rated A Dirty Wedding Night (Dirty, #2.5) in Books
Jul 17, 2018
I was not sure if I was going to enjoy this book as much as the others. I was wrong as it is a steaming read. I loved the fact it focused on each character in turn. I cannot wait until the next book in the series. Jaine needs to add members to the band so we can have more stories!

The Craggus (360 KP) rated The Darkest Minds (2018) in Movies
Aug 17, 2018
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, The Darkest Minds (2018) is very complimentary indeed. #Review
It’s always prudent, if you’re going to copy ideas from other films, characters and books, not to have your characters discuss those very stories right while you’re pilfering them. It doesn’t take a ‘green’ to figure that out... FULL REVIEW: http://bit.ly/CraggusDarkestMinds
This is the place to start if you've never read any of Asimov's books. I, Robot is a collection of short stories that will introduce you to the Asimov universe. It will start you on a wonderful journey over thousands of years as you venture through the robot novels to the galactic empire novels and finally to the foundation series.

AT (1676 KP) rated Attack on Titan No Regrets Vol. 2 (Final) in Books
Nov 9, 2018
This is the second and last book of Attack on Titan No Regrets. The two books are about Levi and Erwin, and how Levi came to join the Survey Corps. Book 2 ends as Levi becomes the Levi that we know from the original series. The author also adds a couple of side stories, which are an extra bit of fun.

Jodie Barker (70 KP) rated The Last Wish in Books
Nov 19, 2018
This is first book I have read in the Witcher world as I thought it would be best to start with a short story collection since I have only played the third game. I enjoyed the stories and the monsters and I can't wait to read more within this world. I think that it is an interesting world with brilliant characters

Dominique Marie (7 KP) rated Women Who Run with the Wolves: Contacting the Power of the Wild Woman in Books
Nov 28, 2018 (Updated Nov 28, 2018)
This book was very interesting. You don't have to buy into the whole Jungian interpretations to enjoy it. Some of it resonated with me, and some of it didn't, but, as a literature major, I found it fascinating, and I loved the myths/stories alone. I gave it four stars because it was too repetitive at times for my liking.

Dominique Marie (7 KP) rated The Call of the Wild, White Fang, and Other Stories in Books

This is a beautiful cloth-bound copy of The Call of the Wild and White Fang. I received a copy of this book from Goodreads Giveaways. I love it! It is even nicer than it looks online, and the paper even feels nice and "fancy". These are two of favorite stories, and I love that they are included in one volume.
