I was put off at the beginning with how the story started in some sort of orgy but the more I read the more I enjoyed it. It was not an erotica driven story. Its actually quite fun and witty with some slow going relationship progression but the camaraderie between the five of them was great.
With how this book ended, I just had to go get book 2 because I need to know that they're going to survive and have more witty conversations :-)

This book had some holes in the plot but not enough to sink it. The characters made up for what was lacking and since this is a character driven story it worked. Brooke did a good job describing anxiety issues and that made Giselle seem more authentic. This gets four stars from me because despite the short fallings it was still a pleasure to read.

This is an amazing story! There is the perfect amount of action, suspense and romance right from the start. The characters are faith driven but the religious views weren't excessive. It was refreshing to read something that action packed without it being vulgar in any way. I would recommend this book to anyone. Looking forward to reading more from Jane Choate.

Very interesting (and excellent) cast. Paul Rudd, Paul Giamatti, Jeff Daniels, and Guy Pierce all step outside their general wheel houses and bring together a wonderful performance about a true chain of events that unfolded during World War II.
As a Red Sox fan I had a general idea of the story surrounding Moe Berg, but I was enlightened about several different elements of the story by the movie and even more so I was driven to do additional research and found out even more information about this unheralded American Hero.
If you're looking for an action romp this isn't where you'll find it. This is a movie that will capture your imagination and you will almost forget that this is all based on a true story.

Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated Where Loyalties Lie(MidKnight Blue Series #3) in Books

I love the way Hancock writes and how well developed her characters are but this installment in the MidKnight Blue series seemed to lack the usual drive. All the amazing characters were there and I understand they are in flux. Just this book seemed more like an interlude than a truely developed story. Doesn't make it a bad book by any means just the plot was not as well driven as Hancock's other books although the chracters were still amazing.
