Fun, fun, fun. Dexterity and killing mayhem.
I did a demo last night and met JR Honeycutt last night. He was great. Embodies the spirit of fun this games is about. Do you want to throw fireballs. Flick em at other players. Run around snatching treasures. Taking pictures. Duck into caves and come out in other places. This is not a deep strategy game. But you will smile unless you hate the theme.

Card dictate movement, and also have another "bonus" like flicking a fireball or unleashing a flying tiger. so it's multi use card based. while you run around collecting things trying not to die and take pictures.

Great tabletop game for families with children. Cards dictate movement and you get to flick fire bombs at your opponents!

Vale of the Wild adds new mechanics to the Mystic Vale game, enabling new and novel strategies. It adds leaders, which can focus your game and give you a boost in the slow early game. It also adds cards that care about corruption, either by having as few cards in your field as possible, or as many red symbols as possible for extra points. It adds variety to the lone original strategy of as many green symbols as possible

Oh so beautiful
This is fairly simple game with straight forward strategy that has few variations. It helps if your opponent is as skilled as you as that makes it more challenging. Said that, I am very happy to return to this game when I have bit of time as the cards are beautiful and it is definitely one of those 'feel good' games, no matter whether you win or not. It is a good addition to my collection.

While the strategy is rather low, there are still some fun combos you can pull off to sabotage another player or ascertain victory for yourself.
Can feel very dissatisfying when certain events unfold just the wrong way, and vice versa when another player gets perfect draws. Considering the entire game is based around what card you flip over, the randomization of the deck is more influential. (0 more)
