"This is a very important book. It is the only book about oppression of WOMEN in Asia and Africa, so far that I have read, that gives the work of women turning the oppression into opportunity for them to create economic independence for them and for all women of the region. Every book on the same subject I’ve read just described the horrors. But this is about the women fighting back successfully without bloodshed! The title, taken from a Chinese proverb, says it all: ‘Women hold up half the sky.’ This book is different from others about gender oppression: It illustrates how women in Africa and Asia are leading a courageous, strong crusade. It is a story of empowerment. We can learn from their wisdom. This book takes a sad song and makes it better, so to speak."

The two leads, not female versions of brad & george, not even close (0 more)
Not bad, but disappointing based on expectations.
this movie was mostly just meh.... I wanted it to be so much more, and I love strong women, so when they weren't it was a bummer.

I love this urban fantasy romance series!!! The D'Artigo sisters are strong amazing women! The sisters have grown so much. I love the secondary characters and how Yasmine is able to introduce a character and series later fits them into the story so well. I am can't wait for the next book!!!

I think I could watch this every day.

Carrie Fisher was such a wonderful talent and larger-than-life personality. The world is just not the same without her.

I sure wish I was able to meet her, hug her and tell her she inspired a generation of strong women!

This short prequel to the story of Rae and Ruby really lets you get to know these characters deeper. Much deeper. These two incredibly strong women come together and the sparks fly on many levels. Char Dafoe may be a newcomer but she just keeps delivering and getting stronger like her characters.

Hi there everyone! I'm completely new here, so I'm still learning what to do and how to do it! I'm a writer of romance, I write both mainstream romance as well as lesbian romance. My books are published and can be found at Amazon.com under my name. I have three series out currently. My brand of romance is somewhat different from the classic romances, first of all there's action, I write mostly law enforcement, military or music industry related fiction. My characters deal with things like PTSD, mental health and violence against women. My female characters are ALWAYS strong women, I write them the way I want women to be perceived.

I'm Not going to reveal any spoilers. This book features books 1-5 of the Paranormal protection agency series by Mina Carter.

My overall impression: It was an extremely well written and well thought out series. The stories are quick reads but in my opinion that is a good thing. Especially for women who have lots they have to do such as working and looking after the kids. I would have plowed through this in one day if not for my children, but it's fine because I can get to the end of a part and put it down and come back to it.

The characters were amazing to meet. The men were strong and domineering. The women were sometimes equally as strong but just needed a bit of brute strength in assistance.

The love scenes were hot hot hot. The men sexy, the women wanton. I loved it.

I'd definitely advise you buy this and read it. You won't be disappointed.
