I got a chance to read the follow up to THE KITE RUNNER which doesn't actually come out until the second half of May. It's a character study of two women over the course of 40 years of Afghanistan history. Very moving and powerful book.

The Spellmans are a family of PIs. That just means they spy on each other as much as their clients. This is an odd little book. Very funny and quirky. Not really a mystery as much as a family study. Worth reading for something different.

Easy to use. Many languages to close from. (0 more)

English to Chinese has no explanations, they just start you off with learning both the symbols and words without knowing the English translations of them. Sometimes the app freezes in the middle of a lesson. (0 more)

I use the app on a daily basis to study French. Have dabbled in Swedish, Chinese, Japanese, Esperanto, Welsh, and Gaelic.
