Stunningly animated and so refreshing to see a return to a more 2D style! Also nice to have a totally original story from a large studio, rather than an adaptation or straight sequel. This movie would be watchable for the animation alone, it's a massive bonus that the characters and plot pack a real punch.

The film isn’t one of the best horror movies in its style, but it’s not the worst, but it did remind me of an extended version of one of the episodes from Supernatural, The Unholy is most probably going to appeal more to fans of Jeffrey Dean Morgan that to horror fans.

Emotion, style of writing, song lyrics (0 more)
Daisy Jones and The Six has it all love, Lust, heartbreak, rock n roll, sex, drugs, addiction to it all. The interview style which it is written in with so many points of view was easy to follow. It reads like a behind the music show with a little of where are they now thrown in. I can't say enough amazing things about this book. I was laughing and then crying following the story of the band and how they became Daisy Jones and The Six. A story so layered with emotion it speaks volumes in more than just the words. Including the lyrics of the songs along with this book makes it truly unique.

This book felt so real. I'm glad Reese Witherspoon has optioned it for film, whether as a miniseries or a movie. Either way, it would be beloved.

Even the minor characters were great and well-rounded. The characters were more than an extension of the author but were fully formed as individuals with complex backstories and emotions. The writing style brought everyone to life.

The story flows very well (0 more)
Unusual writing style which was hard to get into (0 more)
This book was sent to me as a Christmas present by my brother. When i first started reading it, it took.me two attempts to read the first chapter to find my flow with the writing style, as it wasn't written like any book I had ever read before. It is written more like a play or a collection of thoughts by various speakers. That being said I thoroughly enjoyed it, and found it is the type of book you keep going back to. The story flows very well and at time it is so descriptive you feel the anguish Mr Lincoln must have been feeling at the time of losing his son.

I'm reading Daisy Jones and The Six, by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which will be released next year. It 's a "retrospective" about a fictional band from the 1970s and is written in interview style about the band's creation, rise, and the night that changed them forever. It reads like an interview in Rolling Stone. I love the author's writing style. She brings the characters and stories to life! I'm only up to the chapter about their first European tour and can't wait to read more. It's sooooo good!

Full disclosure, I received a promotional advanced copy of this book in return for my honest review. That said, I absolutely love it and highly recommend it. I think you'll love it, too.

This is a short story that was published in the New Yorker. The tale is strange and intriguing and fits perfectly into Ishiguro’s style. I listened to this story on the New Yorker’s fiction podcast which I would highly recommend as the reader spends time discussing the story as well as giving a reading. I really enjoyed this story and would definitely recommend it.This is a short story that was published in the New Yorker. The tale is strange and intriguing and fits perfectly into Ishiguro’s style.
