"I first saw this movie when I was a little girl. I was so drawn to Amy Irving, her personal style in this film. I loved this story of a progressive, intelligent, Jewish New Yorker who was so bonded to her grandmother, but not necessarily to her cultural traditions. And what a great romance! There is nothing else like this movie."

"I’d be hard-pressed to exclude this towering giant of a movie from any list. It’s a film that marked the lives and careers of so many directors and critics of my generation. The miracle is that it stands up so well. The style is classical, the acting impeccable, and the soul of the film throbs and nags at us across the decades."

"I'm going on a trip. To the Leaving."

I actually really liked this one, despite the mixed reviews. Advance warning that it does switch between/follow multiple POVs which i know isn't for everyone but it worked so WELL for this story. The author gave each character their own personality with her unique writing style and design for the book which I LOVED.

"He (Bill Bryson) is very famous for A Short History Of Nearly Everything, it’s a great book. It’s a book on science essentially and the history of the world. But he has written it in a very entertaining style and it’s a very humorous read... A Short History of Nearly Everything is also a book that you can certainly read again."

"I read one of Borges’ short stories in a science-fiction magazine when I was 20, and I immediately fell in love with his style and his universe. Later on, I discovered that the short story, ‘The Babel Library,’ was part of this collection of short stories. Borges is the only South American writer all of whose books I have read and reread."
