A very simple follow up continuing from the same night as the first. Just another quick excuse for lots of extreme gore and kills with a very weak story line. One for the gorehounds, otherwise there is not much substance for anyone else.

Fun but lacking in substance
I've read quite a few of Nick Spalding's books, and they can always be relied on to provide some much needed comic relief. Bricking It is no different, however I did feel like it was a little lacking in substance.
The plot is straight forward, and to be honest maybe a tad basic. It feels like a very short read and I do think potentially could have been expanded on a little. Focusing on both Danny and Hayley's sides of the story helped provide variety and a much needed change in perspective. There's a fair few funny moments in this, some that made me laugh out loud. There were also a few unbelievably cringeworthy moments that I could hardly bear to read (think toilet humour). I think overall this has a decent entertaining story but is sadly lacking in any real substance likely because the plot is very minimal.

Rolling Stone's 61st greatest album of all time
A great introduction to the funk-rock of S&TFS, but i would encourage anyone interested to listen instead to Stand!, Fresh or There's a Riot Goin On, as they have a lot more substance than just scratching the surface here.

The Substance of Style is a fantastic look at how aesthetics and style has changed and shifted out culture in the past century. It's a wonderful and in-depth look at just how much our current civilization relies on it. A truly great book to read and very insightful.

Gravity 5.5
Outstanding visuals and great action skims a wafer thin layer of plaster over a weak script and boring dialogue, Ultimately this movie has no substance beyond its opening scenes as you are left to suspend belief as Sandra Bullock performs "Mary Sue" like heroics in unbelievable situations..disappointing!
