Netflix and Chill
So I watched this movie for the first time a few weeks after being dumped by my first girlfriend, I was rebounding with this guy that I didn’t really like but he was hot and he wanted to make out with me so I was like, cool, let’s do that. So we go over to his place and he lets me pick the movie. I turn this baby on and we start making out after we get bored of reading the subtitles. After we’re done I go to the restroom and when I come back in the 11 minute long lesbian sex scene is happening before my eyes and I just sit down on the couch and take it in.
It’s iconic, highly recommended for any Netflix and Chill time regardless of the orientation of the couple/group.

I use YouTube every day for music, TV shows and tutorials. Mostly for tutorials and music.
Its simple to use and navigate and I especially like the 'history' option for when I want to view an already watched video.
Being able to fast forward and rewind quickly just by dou ke tapping either side of the screen is a great feature for the tutorials I watch and the su titles help for tutorials that aren't in English or if I need to watch with the sound muted.
I feel YouTube Music is expensive for what it is, there are other more competitive apps out there that are far better.

Absolutely amazing
I have nothing bad to say about this show. It is serious while simultaneously hilarious. The plot thickens with each episode. The acting is superb and I love the romantic progression. Not only is the main character, Do Bong-Soon, at battle with herself and her incredible strength, she becomes the bodyguard of the CEO of a gaming company, and begins investigating terrifying disappearances that take place after a murder. When someone close to her is targeted by the kidnapper, she takes it personally and sets herself up to catch the culprit. The overlay sound effects and background animation only succeed in adding to the charm of this show. As long as you don't mind subtitles, this show is definitely worth a watch. The episodes are fairly long at over an hour each so it's easy to waste a lot of time watching without realizing. Be prepared.

Bit of a whirlwind
Honestly from the start to the end of this there was just so much drama and honestly I LOVED IT !?? It was the perfect thing to watch after watching me before you as even though they are love story's they are both so different and yet both so great.
The series follows the forbidden romance of a Russian noble and a lieutenant. But if you think this is just a rehash of the typical Romeo and Juliet think again. In this series the main characters battle against all odds to remain together. The only bad thing i could say is that it was so frustrating when something stopped them from being together ? i almost punched my pillow at one point ??.
I really recommend this to you guys to if nothing else try something new of course that's only if you like subtitles.?

A true story of survival
What a film! What a story! And it's based on real events! I was absolutely mesmerised.
This is a film about survival, strength, extreme bravery, selflessness, the sheer will to stay alive and the risks "normal" people will take to save one man in the face of the brutality of not only the terrain and weather but also of the Nazi's hunting him.
Excellent acting, stunning visuals and cinematography; this film had my bum firmly planted for all of its 135 minutes.
I know some people don't like watching films with subtitles, but please, please don't let that put you off; there isn't a massive amount of dialogue as what is spoken is not the draw of this film.
How accurate it really is, I don't know but if only half of it is close to the truth then I would still be in awe.
Definitely recommended viewing.

A bleak and violent sci-fi
I wanted to see this film when it first came out, and was so annoyed it didnt get a UK release. At the time I managed to find a copy to watch, but havent seen it again until now.
To start with this has a fantastic cast. Whilst I struggle to forget Captain America every time I see Chris Evans, I do think he's a good actor and he's brilliant supported by the likes of John Hurt and Octavia Spencer. Jamie Bell is a great actor too and I think he's rather underrated. And Tilda Swinton simply steals the show as Mason. You hate her yet love her at the same time as she's absolutely hilarious. In part due to the genius idea to give her a Yorkshire accent, as this makes it even more surreal and funny.
The story itself is an interesting one and I was intrigued by the whole thing, I felt invested in the characters as they traversed along the train. And this plot plays out in a very bleak and violent manner. The action scenes are great and wonderfully brutal, and there is some very bleak and dark outcomes and conversations towards the end of the film that make this not your typical run of the mill sci-fi.
I do think there are some parts of this film that aren't great, namely some strange seemingly plot holes to do with character backstories. They're not the end of the world, but still a tad annoying. Also I'm not sure if this is just the Netflix version, but when the Korean characters were speaking there were no subtitles. Fine for minor scenes, but there is a least one major scene where the lack of subtitles is a huge detriment. I'm assuming/hoping the film hasn't been made that way, so I'll blame Netflix!
This is not your average happy sci-fi. However if you dont mind watching something with dark and bleak overtones and a decent amount of violence, this is definitely worth a watch.

Li Hughes (285 KP) rated I, Olga Hepnarová (Já, Olga Hepnarová) (2017) in Movies

I had never heard about this case before, so this was fascinating to me and I read up on the actual history before I watched the film. The film isn't too far off, though it does seem to fill in holes and exaggerate things as many movies do. The acting is very good, and the film's atmosphere makes it feel almost like an authentic product of the 70's at times. The depiction of Olga's mental illness is also very on point.
The iffy points for me: the plot can be very disjointed in places. Maybe it's because the subtitles lose part of the film's flow, but there were several points (when she moved to the cottage, when she got fired, etc.) where I had to stop and think about how we had gotten to that point. And the depiction of Olga's attempts to experiment and create relationships with both genders began to feel a bit exploitative, though maybe that was just me.
Overall, this was a very good movie about a very interesting and sad situation and woman.

Borderline-unwatchable Soviet-era sci-fi film, also known as Space Cop (according to the subtitles on the version I saw, anyway). The reappearance of a ship thought lost in space, and an attack on Space Police HQ, results in a patrol spaceship being sent to investigate, the search leading to one of those planets which looks suspiciously like a quarry. What ensues there is a joyless, repetitive trudge.
Feels like one of those films made by people who've had sci-fi explained to them over the phone, but who have no first-hand familiarity with the genre, or indeed much familiarity with storytelling in general. This is before we get to the primitive production values, the aspects of the story which don't travel well (the villains are a trio named Doug, Marge, and Steve), or the heavy reliance on technobabble plot devices. Has the general feel of an episode of Space 1999. There are some interesting psychedelic visuals on display, and the special effects are often amusing (this was not the intention), but this is grim stuff for the most part.
