Hallucinations and Flashbacks
Jacob's Ladder- is a really great psychological supernatural horror thriller. Tim Robbins is excellent in this film.
The Plot: After returning home from the Vietnam War, veteran Jacob Singer (Tim Robbins) struggles to maintain his sanity. Plagued by hallucinations and flashbacks, Singer rapidly falls apart as the world and people around him morph and twist into disturbing images. His girlfriend, Jezzie (Elizabeth Peña), and ex-wife, Sarah (Patricia Kalember), try to help, but to little avail. Even Singer's chiropractor friend, Louis (Danny Aiello), fails to reach him as he descends into madness.
Its also super underrated, not alot of people talk about this film or know about this film. Its a must watch psychological twisted supernatural horror film.

This horror novel is perfect for fans of The Terror. The story sucks you in before you know it and soon you are as unsure and terrified as the protagonists. The blend of folklore and legend, of myth and supernatural, of real and make believe are what keeps you reading long after it’s given you the creeps.

Nice supernatural horror
Contains spoilers, click to show
I watched this after seeing it on Netflix and i am glad i did. It is a good supernatural horror about a man who is wheelchair bound (eckhart) after a confrontation with a demon left his wife and son dead. He now specialises in enter possessed peoples minds in order to find the demon, expel it and free the possessed person. He has a hidden agenda as he wants to confront the demon that took his wife and child from him and left him disabled. Its got just the right amount of creepy moments and the demonic possession is done really well. It could have been made more gory and horrific but i think that the way its done makes it stand out more. All in all well worth a watch :)

Gone With The Wind: The Cold Wind Belows
The Wind- is a excellent psychological horror that has suspense, thrills and drama and its set in late nineteenth-century on the American frontier. Its a supernatural western film and its excellent.
The plot: Lizzy is a tough, resourceful frontierswoman settling a remote stretch of land on the 19th-century American frontier. Isolated from civilization in a desolate wilderness where the wind never stops howling, she begins to sense a sinister presence that seems to be borne of the land itself, an overwhelming dread that her husband dismisses as superstition. When a newlywed couple arrive at a nearby homestead, their presence amplifies Lizzy's fears, setting into motion a shocking chain of events.
The suspense, the thrills, the psychological, the supernatural and the horror are all excellent. I highly recordmend watching this film.

Mirror of misfortune
Oculus- a underrated horror jem that more people should watch.
It is spooky, thrilling, chilling, horrorfying, terrorfying, twisting, suspenseful, and overall a great horror film.
The plot: Haunted by the violent demise of their parents 10 years earlier, adult siblings Kaylie (Karen Gillan) and Tim (Brenton Thwaites) are now struggling to rebuild their relationship. Kaylie suspects that their antique mirror, known as the Lasser Glass, is behind the tragedy. The seemingly harmless reflections contain a malevolent, supernatural force that infects the mind of anyone who gazes into it. As Kaylie gets closer to the truth, the siblings become caught in the mirror's evil spell.
A highly reecordmend horror film.

Gripping as always
Another brilliant novel from SK, have not read the shining, although watched it many years ago, so knew the main character already. Kinda want to read the shining now though. I also loved the reference in here that is in his DT series. There are other worlds than these. Loved it, a must read if you like SK and horror/supernatural books

The Room
1408- is a excellent psychological horror movie that is very underrated. It has suspense, thrills, chills, horror, terror, and more.
The plot: Mike Enslin (John Cusack) is a successful author who enjoys worldwide acclaim debunking supernatural phenomena -- before he checks into the Dolphin Hotel, that is. Ignoring the warnings of the hotel manager (Samuel L. Jackson), he learns the meaning of real terror when he spends the night in a reputedly haunted room.
Like i said before it is a excellent movie. It will twist and turn your mind.
I would highly reccordmend this movie.

Yesterday, I saw the movie based on the series of short story collections that inspired future makers of horror. It affected me so deeply that I decided to skip a Rifftrax screening. The actual film collects multiple horror tropes: haunted house, creepy hallways, reanimated corpses, spiders, supernatural serial killer, books. Most of the stories startle, but never terrify. The creature designs are phenomenal. The ending is kind of a letdown after all the thrills. However, one story completely disturbed me. Not the story or the creature, but the style. It used a lot of anticipation and narrative, but never showed much of the horror. It just built up tension and had one huge scare leading to a horrifying "ending" for one of the characters.

Supernatural horror
I started watching this movie on Netflix unsure of what to expect. It turned out to be surprisingly good. It's a monster story unlike any I've seen. Very creative and unique. The acting was good and the effects, while minimal, were excellent. The story played out very well and the cinematography was very well done. Kids probably won't like it much, but this one is really worth a watch.
