The Bone Collector- is a unique mystery thriller that ups the suspense and mystery to 10 fold. You keep on guessing until the very end of the movie, you will be surprised on who it is, that how good the suspense and mystery is.

Revenge and Vengeance
Four Brothers- is a good movie. It has action, suspense, thrills and chills.
The plot: When an inner-city Detroit foster mother (Fionnula Flanagan) is murdered in a botched holdup, four of her now-grown adopted children suspect it was no random killing. Rising musician Jack (Garrett Hedlund), former-Marine Angel (Tyrese Gibson), hotheaded hockey player Bobby (Mark Wahlberg) and settled-down husband and father Jeremiah (André Benjamin) go on the hunt for neighborhood criminal kingpin Victor Sweet (Chiwetel Ejiofor) while being trailed themselves by the local beat cops.
The cast is good, the action is good, the suspense is good and its a good thriller.

One Man's Obsession
Unlawful Entry- is a really good suspense thriller. The suspense, the thrills, the drama, the mystery are all excellent.
The plot: Happily married Michael (Kurt Russell) and Karen Carr (Madeleine Stowe) call the police after a failed robbery. Officer Pete Davis (Ray Liotta) arrives and helps arrange the installation of a new security system. The grateful Carrs have Pete to dinner and strike up a friendship. Pete invites Michael to ride with him during a night's patrol and gives him the chance to beat up the burglar. Michael refuses and tells the disturbed cop to stay away, but Pete begins stalking the terrified couple.
Its a excellent film. Highly recordmend.

Bit too slow (1 more)
Very predictable
Billed as a thriller of sorts but with no real suspense. A night clerk at a hotel with aspergers witnesses a murder on camera's he has hidden in the room.
The plot was far too simple and obvious who the killer was and the whole middle section goes off track on a love story side plot. The two lead actors stand out but overall the result was disappointing.

MoMoBookDiary (20 KP) rated House. Tree. Person. in Books

I eagerly recommend Catriona McPherson’s “House. Tree. Person.” as an intriguing 4 star read.
I do enjoy reading Catriona McPherson’s books based in the Galloway region and enjoy following the characters journey’s between the towns that my family spoke of during my childhood.
This book is a good paced thriller filled with so much suspense you just don’t know what the twist is until the very end (or at least I didn’t).
This book was an easy, yet engrossing, read and had me hooked early on. The author tells the backstory at the perfect pace to ensure the reader turns page after page.
Thanks to Catriona McPherson, Midnight Ink and Net Galley for the opportunity to read and review this engrossing suspense novel.

When Tess sister Edie disappeared 20 years ago, the case went cold. Now her body has at last been discovered and Tess travels back to her hometown to find out what really happened to her. Who can she really trust from her past?
If you are looking for a thriller with a difference, you will not be disappointed by this. This is a fantastic story with an ending you won't see coming. This debut thriller has red herrings and twists to keep you guessing to the very end. Fabulous fast paced read and the author has a way of drip feeding you little bits at a time and you won't want to stop til you have reached the end.
You have here a thick plot with loads of suspense, well structured characters. The story is done in two timelines that keeps you held in utter suspense. This story is dark, twisted, creepy and very atmospheric; you won't be able to put this one down!
Make this one of your must reads....Highly recommend!!!
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for an arc copy.

Very basic plot (1 more)
A few unresolved questions
Sank without trace
This low budget film seemed ok from the trailer. A perilous situation thriller a bit like Fall on Netflix but this time under the sea as a diver becomes trapped in a remote location. The drama and suspense just ran out of steam quite early on or just short of ideas. Some flash backs about the family set up left more questions than answers. Ok if nothing else is on.

Erika Kehlet (21 KP) rated Cold Fire in Books

I was expecting some blood, gore, violence, and monsters (as you would expect from a novel written by a master of horror) and it was all there, but this isn't strictly a horror novel. It was more of an intriguing paranormal thriller, combined with romance and plenty of drama. The suspense kept me hooked and the believable characters left me thinking about them long after I finished reading the story. I haven't read many Koontz novels, but will definitely be reading more after this one.
