I did not enjoy the book as much as her other ones. I love Hahn’s ghost stories and those that deal with the paranormal (Look For Me By Moonlight). This novel was more thriller/suspense than her usual horror.

All always the people Hahn creates have such character and her story is flawless. That being said, it just was not my genre. There was no trace of the paranormal and fantasy in this book, and it left me wanting. It was also predictable. Hahn writes for a much younger generation, but yet, so all her novels are predictable.

I cannot give this book a low rating because there was genuinely nothing wrong with it. It simply was not my cup of tea.

The Gift That Keeps On Giving
The Game- is a excellent mystery drama thriller. The suspense, the mystery, the twist. David Fincher did a excellent job. Micheal Douglas and Sean Penn also did a excellent job.

The plot: Nicholas Van Orton (Michael Douglas) is a successful banker who keeps mostly to himself. When his estranged brother Conrad (Sean Penn) returns on his birthday with an odd gift -- participation in a personalized, real-life game -- Nicholas reluctantly accepts. Initially harmless, the game grows increasingly personal, and Orton begins to fear for his life as he eludes agents from the mysterious game's organizers. With no one left to trust and his money gone, Orton must find answers for himself.

Its a excellent film and a must see.

The Wolves Are Among Them
The Grey- is a excellent survival drama thriller. I love survival/survive of the fitnest films. Liam Neeson does a excellent job in this. The drama, the suspense, tbe thrills are are excellent.

The plot: Following a grueling five-week shift at an Alaskan oil refinery, workers led by sharpshooter John Ottway (Liam Neeson) are flying home for a much-needed vacation. A brutal storm causes their plane to crash in the frozen wilderness, and only eight men (Frank Grillo, Dermot Mulroney), including Ottway, survive. As they trek southward toward civilization and safety, Ottway and his companions must battle mortal injuries, the icy elements, and a pack of hungry wolves.

I highly recordmend watching this film.

Oh my, what a ride!

Full of action, suspense and twists The Anchor is pretty awesome. It's a must read thriller that will keep you guessing all the way through. I was stuck between being adamant that I knew who was behind things to not having a clue.
I do think there could have been a few extra details added to make things 100% neatly packaged but it's also fun having a bit of food for thought.
This one definitely had me getting lost in the pages, which I love doing, especially when I escape housework!
Grab snacks, drinks and a comfortable spot and enjoy. Just make sure to tell your friends about it and get them over to discuss it and theories as you read it.

Holy smokes! Ms. Harris is a FABULOUS thrilling, suspense author. Her book had it all. I mean all. It had the thrills of suspense, the chilling twists, the roller coaster ups and the breath taking romance that makes up a well rounded, beautifully written romantic suspense novel.

The characters within this book are perfectly chiseled. They are real-to-life and complexly portrayed in this thriller. Nikki, Erika, Tyler and the other secondary characters really pulled me into the heart of the story with them. Every fast paced move, every heart pounding scene truly came to life for me. I loved that!

Ms. Harris had me on the edge of the my seat through this whole book. I read it in one intense sitting! That is how a book is written, that's for sure. She added the perfect amount of messages from God and kept the story line flowing. This story is filled with hope and trusting in Him. You need both in today's world!

While this is not the first book in this series, it wasn't hard to get acquainted with the characters and their stories. But, I will for sure be checking out the first two books in the series as well as looking forward to the next installment! Ms. Harris, you are truly, superbly talented and I give this book a whopping 5 star praise and roof-top-shouting recommendations. <a href="http://cafinatedreads.com/revell-reads-review-pursued-by-lisa-harris/"; target="_blank">This review was originally posted on Cafinated Reads</a>

We've Seen This Done Before: A Dozen Times
Firewall- is a movie, that I fell like I've seen, watched oe heard of before. Thats because it is. Cause you will get these types of movies mixed up. Hostage and negotitation movies, cause their all the same.

If you like or seen "John Q", "Hostage", "Inside Man", "The Town", "The Negotitaor" and "Money Monster". Than you kinda of like this one. The Problem is that, movies like "Inside Man", "The Town" and "John Q" are better. The other problem with this one is that, the final battle just ends so quickly, badly and pointless. Like the bad guy just dies and than boom end. What?? The whole movie was building up suspense between the main charcter and bad guy, and than he just dies with one hit/blow and thats it. The whole movie felt pointless, because of that. The whole suspense just gone, you felt nothing. Felt like the whole movie was pointless and it was.

The plot: Bank security expert Jack Stanfield (Harrison Ford) builds a career on his expertise in designing theft-proof computer systems for financial institutions. However, a criminal mastermind (Paul Bettany) kidnaps his family, and he must work feverishly to find a way to break into his own system and steal $100 million, for the lives of his loved ones hang in the balance.

Paul Bettany was excellet as the villian.

Other than that, this movie is a decent suspense thriller and that has a bad ending that makes this whole movie pointless.

Beautiful, tense thriller!
I have never read a book by Flynn Berry before. I was absolutely blown away by this book, and so sad that it had to end.

A young woman is always on the lookout for her father, who murdered her nanny and attempted to murder her mother before fleeing the country. His tight-knit, powerful group of friends and classmates is her best bet for finding out what really happened, and where he went. She follows them, tries to infiltrate their lives anonymously, and get answers. The story is told in alternating timelines - then and now. The way it unfolded was fascinating, had a great pace, and ended up being surprisingly emotional in the end. I can't wait to read more of Berry's books!

Saw wannabe
An average at best thriller, which is a mix of Cube, Saw films where a group of strangers wake up and wondered where they are and what their connection is. This time if they don't figure it out, one of them will be shot every 10 mins.
This films works on some levels but it's not that dramatic, the abductor isn't that menacing or scary and it fails to create the tension and suspense needed for a film like this to work. I have to add it's really low budget and the acting quite poor, Sabrina the teenage witch (Melissa Joan Hart) appears to have grown up quick, but no wonder I've not seen her in much since those days. To cap it all it has an odd ending which didn't fit.

All Aboard The Train: Ticket Please
The Commuter- combines the Taken franchise, Non-Stop and Run All Night mixs it with Murder on The Orient Express and Strangers on a Train. All those togther results into this movie. A decent action suspense thriller starting Liam Nesson.

The Plot: Insurance salesman Michael is on his daily commute home, which quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on the train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he realizes a deadly plan is unfolding, and he is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy that carries life and death stakes for everyone on the train.

I would reccordmend watching this movie, cause its good.

What we have here is another winner from Mr Sinclair and yet another off my to-be-read pile!

Having recently read the first in the series, "Dance With The Enemy", I admit to being a little nervous as to whether this instalment was going to be as good however, I needn't have worried .... this is just as good and had been hooked from start to finish.

With loads of action and suspense, fantastic characters and excellent story, this is a riveting spy thriller and one I would highly recommend. This is the second in the series and although not absolutely essential, I would recommend you read the first ... believe me, you won't be disappointed.

Once again, belated thanks go to Clink Street Publishing and NetGalley for my copy in return for an honest review.
