"Or just about any book by Graham Greene. As a journalist who has now written a book myself, I’m in awe of how Greene weaves his narrative into the social and political context of his Haitian setting. The Comedians drips with atmosphere as well as suspense."

Chilling
Wow! It was not the ending I was expecting, so many twists and turns. It did not head in the direction I thought it would. The author has an amazing way of telling such a spine chilling story without giving anything away!

Great Build up but eventually falls flat.
It comes at night was one of those movies I heard about but really had no clue what it was actually about even when I started watching it.
The whole movie has a very tense and almost claustrophobic feel to it as well, I love movies especially horror/suspense movies where you have no idea who you can and can't trust and It comes at night really just takes that vibe and runs with it.

Sadly though the uneasiness and suspense never really paid off for me because the ending I found personally fell really flat and almost anticlimactic.

this is the first book by this author that I've read and I wasn't disappoint one bit. I really liked everything about this book from the story, plot and characters. this book is a erotic suspense novel which will keep you hooked long into the night and leave you wanting more. this book is wrote in the third person which makes the story line flow effortlessly. this is a very steamy read mixed with lots of suspense making this a fantastic book. this is a must read book. I cant wait to read more from this author.

Ok, can I just gush about this cover? That was the first thing that caught my eye! I have a soft spot for combat and working dogs, so naturally after reading the summary I had to request this. Normally I do not go for suspense but this had great buildup and lots of twists and turns! This book slightly reminds me of D.D. Ayres's K-9 Rescue series as they are both suspense romance around a working dog. Really can not wait for book two.

I do not get paid for this netgalley arc~

I wasn't sure how the author would be able to top the sense of suspense that came along with the weird mystery at the center of the first novel, but somehow he has done it. Even knowing the secret of what the town is, there is still plenty to discover about the things going on behind the scenes, and just how creepy they can get. The characters are still very engaging and the twists are still both plentiful and plausible, while the suspense keeps things moving along at a brisk pace. If you liked the 1st of the series, be sure to check this one out as well.
