You'll experience every emotion possible when reading The Sweet Gum Tree. There are so many things happening that you're never positive about how it's going to end, all you know is: the story was so amazing that almost any ending will make sense. I absolutely loved this book!

Debbiereadsbook (1449 KP) rated Alternating Current (Brannon Boys) in Books

short and sweet, steamy and smexy!
I was gifted my copy of this book.
What this is, right, is a short, sweet, super smexy read, that hit all the spots that needed hitting for me, at this moment in time.
It is, quite simply, boy meets boy, they fall in love, the end! And I freaking loved it and the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was cos it was too flipping short and I wanted MORE of these two, I really did!
Neither Kyle nor Garrett is looking for anything permenant, but when Garrett comes to Kyle's apartment to fix his air con, all bets are off and the pair fall hard and fast and so flipping cutely, it was almost pure sugar.
This is set in the Brannon Brothers realm, and it's not necessary to read the first Brannon book, Heat Transfer, to follow this one. Garrett has connections with those boys, which is why it's in the series.
Short and sweet, smexy and steamy, a fabulous 4 star read.

Beautiful music (1 more)
Gorgeous visuals
My Poor Heartstrings
Beautiful, sad, lonely movie that tugged at my heartstrings and I'm not embarrassed to say that I cried at the end. The actors were great and the premise was sweet. The music seemed like an additional actor and was powerful at many points.

I instantly loved this book. It's a collection of love poems with the feel of free-verse poetry. Some of them are sad, others are sweet, still others are affectionate. But all of them resonate with passion and intimacy. This would be a perfect valentines gift for that special someone!

Piggie is teaching all her friends to dance, but Gerald might prove to be a bit of a challenge. Lots of laughs and a sweet ending make this one a winner.

I've said this before in my status update, and I'll say it again: Anyta Sunday is the mother f*cking Queen of the scorching-hot slowburn.
I loved this!
So sweet and hot and funny and delicious, the chemistry between Theo and Jamie made me melt.

This was a really sweet read but it was just soooo short! I really liked the characters and believe that they could be developed so much more. I would very much be interested in reading a full length version of this as it just lacked too much depth and emotion.
