I don't think a voice of the '60's resonates with me. I had a hard time getting into the book, even if the overall story was bittersweet, emphasis on the sweet. I didn't feel attached to the characters and without paying attention to the number of "pages", I was under the impression it wouldn't be a long and thorough tale. The emotions I wanted to feel, unfortunately, just weren't there.

I love Frozen and, while not as good as the first one (yet better in other ways), I love the second movie too! It does seem to touch on depression just enough that even my 9 year old was in tune with what they were trying to depict, but not so much that it was a turn off. The story, overall, was sweet and happy, with several life lessons hidden within.

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated A to Z (Coda Books, #2) in Books

I didn't like this as much as the first, hence the three star.
It was a cute story with some really sweet moments throughout.
Angelo was pretty cool, if a little troubled. Zach was just plain blind for half the book. Tom was a d*ck. And the reappearance of Jared and Matt from the first book was pretty awesome.
I will be reading more of the series.

Ok, so I went into this film completely blind. I could tell pretty quickly that it was made on a small budget and isn't of the highest quality. However, the cast really did a good job digging into their characters and I thought that it had a very sweet story. Would watch it again. I just wish that someone had given the director an extra five million dollars to make this.
