This was a compellingly sweet read with a bit of mystery thrown in. The first pages draw you in and tell you that this won't just be a romance but actually have some content to keep you interested. That to me makes this stand out from other romances.
The characters aren't just one dimensional and they bring a backstory that gives the relationships substance.
Perfect for those who enjoy a mystery romance with substance that isn't just about the sexual attraction and nothing else. For those who don't want a lot of extras it may not be for you.
On a side note the cover to me doesn't do this book justice. To me it looks like an 80s cheap romance cover and takes away from the book, which is actually very good.

A nice and sweet time-travel romance. Melissa was a well-developed heroine for Rory, who while not as developed and portrayed as practically perfect, was a wonderful hero for her. The story was smoothly written, although I could have done without some of the flowery prose, and had well-defined plotlines. I thought the epilogue was a little bit of a letdown because I would have liked to hear about the children at Freedom House. An easy and otherwise nice read, but it didn't connect with me as much as other books. Still, it really was well-written and the romance between Melissa and Rory was lovely.

She is a divorcee that suspects the new ice cream man might be selling more than ice cream from his truck. He is an undercover cop watching the frazzled mom that is the prime suspect in a check-kiting case. Neither expects for a love connection and a sweet romance to occur while uncovering the secrets about each other.
While this book was originally written in 1988 and newly released on ebook, it still stands the test of time. I enjoyed the whimsy characters (her neighbors are a bunch of fun-loving snoops and gossips), the unexpected attraction and romance, and the touch of mystery.

Loved this So much!
It is very unusual for me to love a book as much as the first in a series. The romance is a tad bit dull, only because it is constant. That aspect makes it sweet and I still enjoyed it. This book was action packed while still tugging on my heart strings. I read this twice in preparation for the next installment coming May 2018!!

Macey is a naive high schooler who wants to find a date to prom. She reads way to much and decides to use 10 steps from her favorite romance novels in order to get a boy for prom.
This is a short, sweet, and uniquely funny book. The premise is cute and while Macey is beyond naive towards the true love it is so short it doesn't matter.

This is a contemporary romance story by this author. I really enjoyed this story, it was sweet with a different edge to it. The characters were fantastic, they had such an emotional connection. I was hooked from the first page and fell in love with the characters at the same time. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

This is an incredibly sweet next door neighbor romance with an age gap. I loved the awkwardness of Brinley. I think she embodies all of us slightly nerdy, unsure of ourself people. Leah was not as deep but fit the role well. I also liked Kat, Brinley's sister, she was the snarky one. This story lends itself to be continued because all the characters can grow. I hope to see a sequel, perhaps a series.
