I enjoyed this a lot!

The main character, Eleanor, is stuck in a rut, so she decides to do one wild thing every month for a year. Something that pushes her out of her comfort zone. When one of her best friends splits up with his girlfriend, El and two other of their friends decide to buy their house together - a kind of ‘Queer Commune’. A commune because there’s four of them living there as equal partners in the ownership. And it’s a decent commute time outside of London.

Only El has a huge crush on one of her housemates, Ray. And she’s had an unrequited crush on her for quite a while.

I love Laura Kay’s writing. Yes, it’s a romance, but it’s not teeth-clenchingly sweet, and El’s personal growth is as central to the story as the romance itself.
Jamie is fabulous, Will is the sensible one - all great characters and people you’d love to know and be friends with.

I’m definitely becoming a firm Laura Kay fan!

To Catch a Dream is going on tour! Yes, that's right. You heard me! The wonderful ladies at Goddess Fish Promotions have done some awesome work and will be promoting my latest from June 28 to July 16. If you fancy joining in, please click HERE - https://goddessfishpromotions.blogspot.com/2021/06/blurb-blitz-to-catch-dream-by-morgan.html

With good friends and a new job and, twenty-six-year-old Caitlin has it all. Strong, independent, and content with her life, Caitlin isn’t looking for love.

Smart, sexy, and sweet, Will is everything a girl could want. He also makes Caitlin want things she was certain she could live without.

Life isn't always simple though, and Caitlin has decisions to make. Her ex-boyfriend, Andrew, is still hanging around and causing trouble. Not only that, but Cat refuses to choose between a new man and her two best friends.

With her heart on the line, Caitlin must decide if she's prepared to take a chance or play it safe.

To Catch a Dream is a sweet contemporary romance with sensual moments. It also contains some strong language.

The premise behind this book is a sweet high school romance that is tested when they leave for college. The twist come when T meets other genderqueer people and begins to question who she really is. This is all completely normal I was just not impressed with the way the book dealt with it. Too many stereo types. Also I felt that the people around T were pushing for a decision that T was not ready for. Experimenting is part of life but no one should be pushed one way by peers. It is a journey only that person can take. Also, all the labels! We are all just human. I enjoyed this book but it frustrated the heck out of me at the same time.

This was a really cute book. The characters were interesting and engaging. I found myself enraptured with the story. The characters were both haunted but I was impressed with how the author wrapped it up (even though it was a little to quick of an ending).

This book is definitely a 3 1/2 star book. It is filled with the completely sugary sweet sentiments but it's a good guilty pleasure novel. It's not one that I would recommend to all of my friends unless they wanted a quick romance.

This was a really quick read. It was 640 pages on my nook but it went by very fast. If you're looking for a toe curling, fast paced read, look no further.

3.5 stars

This was cute but I missed out on the details in some of the ice scenes. The dance moves so I could look them up, the plays in hockey so I could do the same. We had a few mentioned during practise but I missed the thrill of competition, the build up to a win. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the book.

The romance was sweet, a sort of not-spoken-despite-going-to-same-school-for-years to having to work together and slowly falling for each other. I liked it despite me being used to more steamy romances.

A great book if you like gentle, contemporary, young adult romances.
