The price is a little steep
We have Netflix connected to our TV and phones, which is a god send. We often download programmes and films for long journeys which is a bonus. The only things I do struggle with is the fact that they don't often renew the films so we often go over to now TV and its getting so expensive. It's hiked massively since we first started using it. But we cannot justify the 5.99 a month just for the 1 device so alas, we continue to pay

Perhaps the most famous of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes mysteries, in which the super-sleuth investigates the supposed Baskerville family curse of the hell-hound on the moors.

What else can I say? Originally serialised by Arthur Conan Doyle, there's been many attempts to adopt this for TV, film or stage over the years, right through from the classic Basil Rathbone 1939 classic (and which many - myself included - still envisage Holmes as) to the more modern BBC Benedict Cumberbatch TV series, one of which has an episode largely based on this story.

Mysterious deaths, ghostly hell-hounds, escaped convicts and the marshy moors all play a part in this ...

In addition to being able to review a TV season as a whole, I think being able to review individual episodes would be good. I used to use a review app which did this, and it's the only thing I miss in Smashbomb. Sometimes an episode is outstanding, sometimes it's just awful, and you may want to review it or discuss it with others the day after the episode aired live on TV, or the day after you streamed it online, without having to wait for the end of the season to review the season as a whole. Just a thought, not sure how feasible/practical this is.

I like them, but they are often repetitive.

I like your idea about the episodes though. Some seasons/series I would rate poorly but individual episodes are great. Or vice versa.

Hi Lee - thanks for the suggestion.

We actually assessed this when we added the TV category and it was decided that adding individual shows would be extremely hard to manage at this stage.

We have it in mind still though for when the site grows further and we have more people power!

"The most visual of all world events was for so long reduced to television coverage. In Tokyo Olympiad, it was finally handled by an artist of the caliber the event deserved. With our one TV channel, the Olympics were a big deal in my house. For two weeks, bedtimes and TV time limits were thrown out the window, and we youngsters rejoiced. But what I saw then on NBC couldn’t prepare me for the radically elevated portrayal Kon Ichikawa achieves. His film offers the Olympic events as the compositional feasts they were, not just a score tally. (Also, the best movie ever to fold laundry to.)"
