Not for me
When I read the synopsis I was really interested in this book. But when it arrived and I started to read it, it turned out to be different to how I expected.

I got to about halfway through and decided I didn't want to finish it. I didn't really engage with the characters, or the story.

It started off with a 70 year old Swedish woman shooting her 85 year old husband dead after a phone call which just gave the code word Geiger. Then she leaves. That is what grabbed me. But then the story goes into Cold War territory and the relationship between Sweden and East Germany. The husband was a famous children's television personality in his younger days and would hold parties at his home which famous people would attend, including other TV stars, business people and politicians. But was he a spy working for East Germany? Or for Sweden against East Germany? And why is his wife now going around shooting other people connected to him? Is she the spy? I'll never know, as I only got to page 203.

If anyone would like to tell me how it ends, feel free.

Without a doubt Game of thrones is one of the best television shows ever created. It also the only television show my brothers dad and myself agree that it brilliant. The brutality from day one is a first for TV and the fact main character quiet often get killed of when first released was novel.

Tyrion Lannister character is a true master piece with he's wit and personality there is truely no one quiet as unquie or brilliant in my eyes. I met Peter Dinkagle at London comic con a few years back and he was every bit as brilliant as his character.

Arya Stark is also an amazing character. My friend seem to think I am her which I take as a great compliment. It nice to see a show where young girls can go fight and stand up for themselves at an early age.

The show obviously has great eye candy most girl seem to like Jon Snow honestly I'd take Cal Drogo

I think one thing that make this show is the villain or whatbyou believe are villains there's so many dimentions you may hate one one season yet the next season it somone else. That being said I think we can all agree from day one Joffery was a little shit

"I was researching Gene Vincent online and that brought me to Ian Dury’s song 'Sweet Gene Vincent'. I was not really familiar with it at that point. I knew his hits and I’d seen him on TV and stuff, but I’d never really connected with his music, though I respect him enormously. I was reading up on him and stumbled onto the fact that he had this son, Baxter Dury, who also does music. I checked out one song on YouTube and went, ‘Oh this is right up my alley’ and I immediately downloaded the whole record. I’ve probably listened to it 75 times in the past two months. It’s become a very important record to me. There’s a variety of things I like about it. I would say, his personality comes through the music. It’s not pretentious. You just have a sense of who he is. I love the dry, minimalist production. I like records without too much ambience on the instruments. I associate dry records with The White Album. He also has this lovely rich, lower voice and that great accent. I’m a fan of that accent from when I worked with Eddie Argos and Art Brut. I find it a pleasant tone. For a British person, accents carry baggage, but not for me. It’s all connected to you people and your culture on the island there."

Teenage Angst, Romance & The Deadly Arts - 8/10
Deadly Class is a tv series airing on SYFY based on the graphic novel created by Rick Remander and Wesley Craig and published by Image Comics. Developed by by Miles Orion Feldscott and produced by the Russo brothers, it's set in a much more macabre late 1980's San Francisco. For me this show has been addicting and is easy to get swept up in the chaos of the halls of Kong's Dominion.

Marcus (Benjamin Wadsworth) is a recently homeless orphan who is inducted into a boarding school of elite assassins called King's Dominion. Recruited off the streets by a gang of students, mainly Saya (Lana Condor), on orders by the headmaster Master Lin (Benedict Wong). He must learn the deadly arts while navigating the perilous halls and vicious social cliques in the free-for-all that is King's Dominion. The institution's a place where the world's top mob and crime families send their children to become better killers and it's graduates include serial killers and government assassins.

This show might not be for everyone but I have found it really enjoyable. It's very cliche at times and definitely has it's standard archetypes but the characters pop with personality especially when the show goes into these really awesome motion comic scenes when delving into their personal backgrounds. The action is definitely top class and keeps the show going but it's not able to always keep that tension when not in the halls or classrooms of the school where anything can happen. By the 1st or 2nd episode you'll know if it's for you. I particularly like how the main group is a bunch of misfits who come together and the progression of the main character. Like i said, I give it a 8/10.
