That’s You!
That’s You!
2017 | Massively Multiplayer, Music & Party
A fun party game
Multiplayer couch co-op games are sadly a rarity now with online gaming, so That’s You is a refreshing change. Not only does it let you play with up to 6 players in your own home, you also don’t need to have that many extortionately priced PlayStation controllers - it’s all controlled through an app on your phone or tablet.

The game itself is very fun and interactive and great to play with those you know fairly well. Playing with near strangers probably wouldn’t be anywhere near as entertaining or advisable. It switches between asking questions about statements and who they apply to most, to drawing challenges (either on selfies or generated artwork), completing sentences and posed pictures. It’s a lot of fun and it’s interesting to see what your loved ones think of you - I’m known as the ocd organised one, can’t say that’s a surprise!

Personally though there are parts of this game that didn’t appeal to me as much, but this is mainly due to my preferences. I’m not a fan of having my picture taken and my creative skills are a little lacking - especially in the short amount of time you’re given to create something! I also think they could do more with this game - more fun options, still centred around the same themes, but with a few different mini games. Otherwise this isn’t really a game that you can play too often.

Great narrators!
Biggest Smallest Bookshelf Ever!
Hands-free reading at its very best, this is the biggest, smallest bookshelf around. With an incredible choice of classics, modern, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, and podcasts, the Audible app gen uinely has something for everyone, and yet it still fits in your pocket. The user interface is simple and intuitive, and subscribers get free episodic content as well as a credit for a free book every month, which can be spent on any book in the store regardless of price!
The app synchs, so you can be listening to a book on your tablet, switch to your phone and it will pick up at the same place. You can listen to books narrated by famous names like Stephen Fry, and a host of other wonderful voices, at home, in your car, through your headphones, and wherever else you can listen to music or podcasts, and the voices appear to be selected specifically with the content in mind. And if you don't like a book, you can simply swap it for another one, no questions asked.
All in all, Audible is a great, easy to use app, with fantastic content, excellent customer service, an amazing range and number of books and 'shows', and fantastic voice talents, all for a very low monthly fee. And you can give it a try with the first month (and your first book) free in a lot of cases.

A thing you can't live with, but you can't live without
I joined Facebook many years ago and couldn't see the point of it. Very quickly though, it became very addictive.

I enjoy the fact that you can share photos with people and I use the messenger quite a lot, to privately talk to my friends.

In general though, I think that this is a good way for your time to be sucked away. It's also a way for your confidence to be lowered, when you see friends getting more 'likes' than you or you see people doing more interesting things than you. That's why I've cut my use of Facebook down, significantly of late.

One thing that has become increasingly annoying, is the fact that when I find something of interest and when I want to show someone else, I can't find it again. The content you see, differs depending on whether you look at it on your mobile, or your tablet etc.

I also don't like the different adverts and random videos that Facebook shows you. I feel like Facebook is in control of what I see, rather than only seeing the content my friends have shared.

Facebook has a lot of negatives but unfortunately, it's a necessary evil, because so many people use it to communicate nowadays.
