Spoiled by R. Phoenix and Morgan Noel is a novel about Romulus and Kieran. Romulus is the spoiled witch lover of Abel, an arms dealer, and Kieran is a human who is involved in a band of rebels. Romulus had been captured by the human rebels and held hostage away from his spoiled life in order to get information about what Abel’s life and routine.Kieran is the medic of the rebels who ended up being the only one Romulus would talk with.

In a battle between the supernaturals and the humans where the humans are second and sometimes third class citizens who will do what they have to in order to survive, Kieran is torn between his self-proclaimed family and the stepbrother that he was raised with.

Before going any further into my review, I want to lead with the disclaimer that this book involves what some may consider an “Ick” factor of romantic and sexual love between stepbrothers. Not that it bothered me any nor was it an issue but I want to let my readers know in advance. With that out of the way, I will continue on.

Spoiled is a stand-alone story that is set in The Fate of the Fallen / Status Quo world. You don’t need to have read the rest of the series in order to understand what’s going on in this book. It gives a glimpse at the world as well as what is happening yet there are no spoilers for the rest of the series. I rather enjoyed the world and how it was set up. The twist of how the humans were lower class and forced into the slums while the supernaturals basically ruled was interesting to me. It gave an insight into things that weren’t normally written about. The character development was amazing and the world development was spot on. I absolutely loved the attention to detail that the authors had given in regards to how each side lived. Being able to visualize it in my mind drew me through the book and landed me right there with Romulus and Kieran.

My heart actually hurt for the two stepbrothers at times who were battling between their love for each other, the situation they were placed in from a very early age and the fact that neither of them seemed to understand where the other was coming from until they were shoved into this situation. Then to have Kieran take a turn and help Romulus escape from his prison in the cellar and Romulus return to save him was beautiful.

The ending left me wanting for more though. With Abel and Romulus together at the end and Romulus and Keiran together as well, The ending left me wondering if there might be a sequel to this book where the three of them end up getting together and involved in a more poly relationship? I could only hope…

I’m going to give this book two thumbs up and a must read to anyone who loves mm romance with a fantasy twist.

Okay, first off I have to say that I have a friend that we talked into reading the 1st book in the series. As she was reading she commented that it is just so unromantic. I replied well, it's not supposed to be, that's not who Christian Grey is! BOY WAS I WRONG! (And yes, Mr. Grey, I did just use shouty capitals!) This book flipped that idea completely on its head. He managed to show yet another unexpected side to his "fifty shades of fucked up" in this installment.
I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first without a doubt! I don't want to give anything away at all. This series truly lives up & deserves all the buzz it has gotten of late. If you want to know what it is all about, well, you won't get that from me. You'll just have to take a chance & go pick them up. I will say if you do, make sure you pick up all 3. Once you start you won't want to stop until you are done!

This book is devastating.

first of all, listening to the audio, it was a bit silly. The accent switched between American and British, and it was weird. The story itself was bonkers (which is to be expected, this is Hearts we're talking about).

What killed me is there's no way for this story to turn out happy. And I am 100% sure of it, so I quit right after the meadow scene. I'll let it work itself out happily in my head. Because I don't feel like having to explain to my boss why I'm crying about a YA novel.

So in my head, Jest took Cath to the Hatter, who made her a hat to make her brave. She marries the king, kills him, kills the jabberwock, and partners with the white queen in Chess to save their kingdom. And she marries Jest and becomes the happiest girl in the world.

EVEN THOUGH I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AND THAT'S NOT IT. Here, Marissa Meyer, just take my heart and stomp on it already.

An interesting read
This book has a very interesting take on a dystopian future, and what is worrying is that it’s something you can imagine happening in our lifetime.

I like the fact that each chapter is headed by a different character, all of whose lives intersect during the course of the story. What I don’t understand is why bother calling them “The Biographer” etc if you end up finding out their real names through th either characters a third of the way into the book? Despite that the characters are well written, all with their own faults although some are more likeable than others meaning you don’t end up caring for some a story much as you should.

I think for the most part this book is very well written and it had me hooked, although parts of it did get a little rambling and unnecessary. It’s an interesting plot although I did feel a little dissatisfied with the ending, but it is a very relevant topic.

Cindy Sproles is a new to me author and she brings us an amazing story with this book! When I sat down and opened the pages of this book, I was instantly hooked. I felt every emotion of the characters, every heart wrenching moment within the pages. These characters were wonderfully chiseled and absolutely took my breath away.

Lochiel's character is stunning. She is has so many secrets to deal with and so much pain. Lochiel will work her way into your heart, and you'll want to reach out and wrap her up in a hug!

Ms. Sproles writing style is unique and a fresh breath of air for this reader! This book will captivate the reader and take them on an emotional roller coaster ride, leaving them wanting more! This book is definitely worthy of 4 stars and two thumbs up. You don't want to miss it!

When I read about this book from the author that email that was sent to me. I was like yes I want read about this. I really did enjoy it.

It about the life of a Navy Seal named Adam Brown. It take you though this live from when He was born to when he died. The story starts out with an interview kind of setting. Though it goes though from How his parents meet and then and it goes though focus on Adam life. I really is a good read. It got to my emotions a bit twice though out the book.

There are somethings that Adam does that are strange but also some really bad things. You will be surpirese to see where he end up being. It quite amazing at what he was able to to do and fight though to get there. If you want a good read and Non Fiction book this is a good one to pick up and read. It read though this family and teammates and friends.

I must say I really enjoyed continuing to read about the characters from the first book. Ella really deals with self esteem issues, but it was so nice to see her come out of her shell. The character of Dorothy was quite fascinating to hear about. I think bitterness over what had happened to her when she was younger really taken a little far. I really don't think that I have ever read another Amish character quite like her.
I also intrigue in reading more about Calvin and Lucy, and I great seeing things through young Katie's eyes. Her determination to get to the library and sign up for the summer reading program was so sweet. The scenes that take place in the Kaffi Haus really had me wanting to find out what going on there.
I also like the continuing story of Maddie and her health issues and Graham part of the story. Though I think Mattie has found her special someone but I am hoping she find out soon.

Woolly and Me by Quentin Greban is a story that shows the power of a young child's imagination. This is a charming book that is packed full of playful imagination and lots of love. A little girl has a woolly mammoth for her best friend. She plays with him and nurtures him and includes him in everything that she does.

They ride in the car, go to the grocery store together, paint fun pictures, go biking outside, take ballet lessons, and teaches him how to use the bathroom properly. She gently comforts him when he is frightened of monsters at bedtime or gets scared on the roller coaster at the local fair. She bandages up his many boo boos when he has been hurt.

At the end of the story there is a twist. The twist will both surprise and delight the reader sparking both conversion and laughter. The illustrations are whimsical, witty and fun. I enjoyed the book and I highly recommend it to readers of all ages.
