Who ya gonna reboot?
Ghostbusters afterlife was announced with original director Jason reitman returning sending fans into a frenzy after the lackluster 2016 "reboot" ghostbusters: answer the call left viewers with a bad taste in their mouth and an empty ghost trap.

It's been 32 years since the apocalyptic events of the first movie and the original ghostbusters are all but completely forgotten.
After the death of egon, his estranged daughter and her children move into his home and try to settle in before pieces of the past start to uncover and an old threat is unleashed... So someone makes a call.

Fantastic visual effects, original soundtrack, a huge dose of nostalgia and a beautiful emotional scene that packs a punch that really kick things into gear.
This is a truly worthy sequel not to be missed and features cameos from the original cast.

This is a short novella which introduces you to the Amber Druids, an ancient race of both men and women who each have their own intrinsic gifts.

Liana and Traven are two Amber Druids who are both living in New Orleans. Liana is a restauranteur and Traven is a P.I. They meet again when Liana has a meeting with a person that Traven is following. They have known each other for 50 years but each of them thought that nothing would ever happen, for their own reasons. This is a short, passionate, love story that I have enjoyed and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This novella is enough to give you a taste - and leave you wanting more - of the Amber Druids. I want to know more about them!

The House with a Clock in Its Walls (2018)
The House with a Clock in Its Walls (2018)
2018 | Fantasy, Horror, Mystery
Imagine a movie that is like a cross between Harry Potter and Goosebumps and you have The House with the Clock in the Walls, sitting down to watch the film last night, I wasn’t overly sure of what to expect from the film, I have to say that I loved the trailer and it was the visuals in the trailer that sold it to me.

I have to say that I wasn’t disappointed with the film, it’s a film that is really aimed at the kids, no matter how big they are, the special effects in the film look brilliant and work well with the story, there are some moments that may scare the very young children such as a character coming back from the grave and the pumpkins that have a taste for flesh and spew out their sticky insides to trap their victims.

very much a HIT for me!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

I really enjoyed this! I found it a lot of fun, spattered with some drama, some bloodshed and some smexy times, and I want to read more of this author.

I loved that Celia was not going to be a proper lady of her time and was going to do what she wanted. Even if she really wanted her bethrothed AND Jackson!

I loved that jackson was, for a pirate, a proper gentleman with Celia, at least til he had a taste.

I loved Jackson's support network and I absolutely did NOT see the twist of who Celia's bethrothed was to Jackson!

Historical romances and pirate romances have been a bit hit and miss for me, but this is most definately a HIT!
