This book interested me. It was a little slow for my taste and the storyline wasn't my normal liking, however overall the characters and plot interested me. If you enjoy a good storyline that is also a mystery and has good characters and interesting plot, I totally recommend this book.

For a short story this one really packed a punch. It had angst, humor, love, and was kinda hot. I plan to read more by Jade Winters after getting a taste test with this quick but very well developed read. Not easy to put that many complexities in 10,000 words. Kudos!

I struggled with this from the beginning. I'd finish one of the short chapters and put it down for days, not at all interested in picking it back up again. Then do the same again a few days later. Until last night when I just decided to give up. It wasn't working for me. Over two weeks I've been reading this and I wasn't getting anywhere.
It may be that my taste has changed from my recent obsession with Paranormal/Urban Fantasy and back into Contemporary Romances as I've just read entire backlog of books pretty much back to back.
I may attempt to read this again at a later date when my taste changes back to paranormal

PN (1 KP) rated American Gods - Season 1 in TV

For Whom the Gods live
The onscreen adaptation of Neil Gaiman's book is an excellent one. Combining topics of philosophy, religion, culture and modern day icons around present America, it stylistically portrays do we need God and whether Gods need us. A bit explicit for everyone's taste, nevertheless, a treat to sore eyes.
