Though there seems to be part of the dolphin what they can teach us in their ways. The cast was good. I would watch with children. There a little drinking and I would only allow children around 13 with this movie. Other then that it find. Teenagers around 13 an up is good for this movie. I would let parents decide for their children.

Holly leads her church's youth group, but many in the congregation believe she's too young to supervise the kids. When she finds out that shes pregnant, the pressure is on, and her secret love affair will start to show.
But thats the least of her troubles.
She organizes an overnight fellowship retreat on Pine Cliff Island off the coast of Maine, and six teenagers show up for a night of good clean fun. When the power abruptly goes out, no one notices until one of the teenagers returns with a knife wound.
Most of the resident island snowbirds have flown south, phone service is nonexistent, and a madman stalks the night. Holly is the only one who stands between terrified teens and a lurking maniac.
The race to survive long enough to escape may depend solely on teamwork and knowing who to trust.
This was an enjoyable read even though it had a few inconsistencies about it. The plot is a good premise and the characters are good.
I feel the tension in the plot but not sure the christian element was right for this or maybe a bit of fine tuning would have made this a fantastic read. All in all it is a good story and will look for more from the author.
I received this free from AXP books and this is my honest voluntary review.
Emma @ The Movies (1786 KP) rated Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) in Movies
Jun 28, 2019 (Updated Sep 25, 2019)
You see Jumanji, and instantly you think "bleurgh, they're not remaking it are they?!"
Having missed the Unlimited Screening because of my work Christmas do, I dragged myself out of bed to see the preview the next morning... and oh my god was it worth the early start. Honestly, I would watch it again in a heartbeat. It is just good old fashioned fun.
I wasn't sure how they were going to turn the board game into a video game, but I really liked the way they did it. From there on I was completely sold on it. I love all four of the main actors, and watching them playing teenagers was so entertaining. Jack Black has to be my hero, diva to a T. Little upsetting to see Bobby Cannavale as the baddie though, that's one fantasy man out of the window, can't go dreaming about him after seeing creepy crawlies all over him.
This one will definitely be in my DVD collection when it comes out, and yes, I will be shouting "Jumanji" out at the end.
Chloe (778 KP) rated See How They Lie in Books

A short sharp snappy novel with a fantastic idea and some good characters. The plot twists were interesting if a little obvious for me, although this is below my reading grade.
The teenagers have limited lives and it is quite sad in places. Often perked up by the happier characters in the book.
The book potentially misses a trick by not delving into the problems of the characters very deeply. Could be some learning points for the target audience. I suppose that may stop it from having the quick read feel and it may get darker
