Wow. This was my first time watching this classic film. Of course I watched the three and a half-hour version of this film, because it was the way Kurosawa intended for his audience to watch it. But let me tell you. This movie used all three and a half hours perfectly. There is not a wasted moment in this entire film. It is quite easy to see why this is considered to be one of the best films ever made, and it is also easy to see exactly how it influenced all of the other films that have come since. I highly recommend it.

Huh. I'm Team Nate all the way so I wasn't really impressed by all the Max time in this book. I don't feel the same chemistry between him and Hanna as I do between her and Nate.

So damn right he turned up at the end! And thank God he isn't dead or I'd be throwing my Kindle across my bedroom right now! He needs to stop being an arse about the new family thing and Hanna needs to tell him about the pregnancy and then they can FINALLY get together because they are perfect for each other.

Already bought book 3, off to start it.

This movie may be as old as it gets, but It has stood the test of time and really like it. No one amazed me more than Donald Pleasance himself as Dr. Samuel Loomis, we all know how much of a legendary actor he is and I have never been more convinced. Everyone else play there roles brilliantly and everything else about this movie was so awesome, but in reality it's normally the characters that get the most credit with Halloween we also need to think and look at the music used and how it elevates the story. You've got to see this timeless classic, it puts the night of Halloween in a pretty creepy but mysterious perspective for all generations. I garuntee it!
