I thought to myself when I started reading this. What is this story about. It starts out with Sophie's dream. She was dreaming about three gravestones by a fence. Her mother was calling her from downstairs.

There this big family secret. Sophie blame herself for her mama premature labor. For her mama had loss lots of babies. The new baby is Sophie new living sibling. You could tell their was some secret that the adult were trying to cover up and not tell her. Her Aunt Rae act strange to Sophie though out the book. If you want to find out what this secret is I suggest you read the book. For I am not tell you any spoilers. I thought that Aunt Rae was a bitter woman and could not believe what see did to her niece Sophie.

Several chapter were all about chores and watch the baby. I understand that they were to be Italian-American. Sophie is like the first or second generation to be born in america. You would think that her grandmother, Aunt, Papa, Mamma would teach her about her homeland. Though some Italian word were metion though out book here and there.

I will tell you this I though it was one I could put down and leave down. I though okay what on tv and glance it and then I turn my nook off for bit and turned back on. I would not recommend this book. It was not my cup of tea though that does not mean it was a bad book or anything to do with the author who wrote. It just was not my cup of tea. I will a good read.. I though though to myself a few questions though I can not remember I was thinking when though questions came.

I loved this book, but then again I am a dork when it comes it useless trivia. Let me tell you this book is FULL of it!
It is not a book you would typically sit down & read cover to cover (unless you're a trivia buff like me of course!) It is designed similar to an encyclopedia. The countries of the world are listed in alphabetical order & there are strange facts about each country. The listing for each country also lists how to say hello & good-bye in the native language, World Heritage Sites, etc. There is a map at the back too which shows you where the countries are located.
All in all it was an enjoyable, fascinating read, though I doubt it would be something everyone could really sink their teeth into.

This book was full of unexpected surprises. Although, the first 36 chapters more so tell the story of the young boys life than his journey at sea, it is filled with such strong emotions that you feel as though you're there with him. His struggles through adolescence make you familiar with Pi in a way we need to really understand why he does all the things he does. When he is overcome by hopelessness, you feel it, when he is overjoyed, you feel that, as well. This is a truly well written work of art with quite an ending. The animal lover in us all cringes at some of the scenes as we play them in our minds but it is understandable and necessary. I would definitely recommend this.

Cate is quite different. She love to read and is reading something. Her father make a edit that the oldest must do everything before the youngest can even court. Both girls do not like this rule at all. Cate want nothing to do with this rule though their no way out of it.

Betsy has suitors though out and quite attractive. Pete Treager comes to Lancaster County for a job. While he there, Marvin and Martin in all trying to get Pete to court Cate. Cate though has her suspicious and it get in her way a bit. She jump to collusion and when she finds out about her little sister Betsy problem. I am not going to tell you for I do not want to spoil the ending the surprises that come though out.

I used to quite like Snapchat, but in all honesty, i was put off by the location feature. This showed where all your Snapchat friends were and was at risk of being hacked, so I instantly deleted the app. My worry was intensified when police came round out local college to warn parent, and tell them how to deactivate it. It does seem like an easy bullying or abuse tool now, if misused, and I did not like how the function is automatically on, and no clear instructions were given as to how to turn it off.
The idea is a nice one, but just not safe or practical. I no longer use the app and have no plans to reinstall unless it is made safer.
Sorry for the mum-rant.
