"I like them, because they were just that. Dres [Andre Dres Titus] is actually a friend of mine. I'll call him, I want you to tell him what we're doing... [He makes a call on his phone, but there's no answer]. Anyway, I was a wolf in sheep's clothing; I could just relate to that. They looked so unassuming, but they were the first to represent that you could talk about bitches and ho's - stuff that the other groups didn't. And Dres is one of the most underrated MC's ever. He's great, he can really rap man. For that to be their debut album… I just loved 'Flavor Of The Month'. The album doesn't get the love it deserves at all. Hopefully people can go and check it out for themselves, because it's dope."

"""See, my problem is, I don’t have favorites. I’ll tell you movies I like, and after I’ve told you and I read the list, I’ll say to myself, “Gee, you should’ve mentioned these five, or these five.” There are so many that I like, but I’ll mention some. This is the last thing you expect me to say. This is gonna knock you out of your shoes. My Fair Lady. That’s probably my favorite movie of all time. I think it is a perfect story, perfectly produced, perfectly acted, perfectly filmed. The dialogue is impeccable, the acting is sensational, the music — you can’t forget it. The settings, the scenes… It was comedic, it told a great story. I mean, I could watch that thing over and over and over again."""

"In preparation for my Christmas film, White Reindeer, I watched this movie and wrote down a description of every single shot, including each camera move and change in blocking. Not only is Heaven Sirk’s most fully realized, subversive takedown of suburban hypocrisy, it’s also the best Christmas movie of all time, and such a marvel of style and camera direction that you barely notice how intricate its construction is until you force yourself to examine it. Sirk said that, in cinema, “motion is emotion,” and that ethos reaches its zenith in the zoom in on Jane Wyman’s reflection in a television screen. This is nothing less than the greatest dolly movie in cinema history. If anyone ever tells you irony and sincerity can’t coexist, tell them they are painfully, tragically wrong."

Seattle-based musician Noah Gundersen is back with a fresh sound on his new album 'White Noise', out 22nd September. With a music video for his new track Lover, Gundersen explores themes of fear, anxiety, and desire.

Working closely with collaborator Andy Park, Gundersen navigates the sense of emptiness that lives inside all of us, and pauses to reflect on themes of attraction and the illusion of choice. For Gundersen, the experience of making music is deeply personal. In this video, we experience the connection between two souls, even as we understand the personal sacrifice that comes from making room for someone else in your heart.

Sometimes you tell yourself something over and over, just hoping that it will eventually come true, trying to fill an unspeakable void.
