Meg and Michael are finally ready to move into their new house. Unfortunately, Meg's dad finds a dead body while digging a pool for the penguins. Wait a minute. Penguins? Yep, it's another mad cap romp with Meg and her family. I found the book very funny and laughed the entire way through. Unfortunately, the ending was a tad weak for my tastes. But that was the only flaw in the book.

Cece is speaking to a Nancy Drew collectors meeting about Carolyn Keene and the authors who really wrote under that name. However, between a rash of vandalism and a dead body, she's found herself in a mystery that would make the teen detective proud. I found some of the collectors over the top and the pacing a little off, but on the whole I still enjoyed this book.

This is a collection of 17 near death experiences which are well written and engaging. Each chapter is illustrated at the start by showing us the body part which nearly caused the death of O'Farrell, I thought this was a nice touch. Sometimes I fumbled a bit whilst reading through this book and ultimately got a bit jumbled in places too. I think the confusion would of been solved if the incidences were written in chronological order. It felt a bit too all over the place rather than a good, smooth read.
