"Anybody who has the audacity to say that Marilyn Monroe wasn’t a good actress needs to see that f***** movie. I want you to go inside and outside of a house, jumping in a box and going, “I’m in and I’m out. And I’m in and I’m out.” And you believe it, that this woman is standing there, working the little thing, the whole body jiggling, the entire place mesmerized. There were just so many moments, and it’s shot so beautifully, and I think it’s just a remarkable film. Clark Gable in a completely different way than we’ve ever seen him before. It’s remarkable."

Deadly Dog Days is a fun start to a new series. While trying to enjoy her lunch break, Cameron is unfortunate enough to discover a dead body in the canal. She then finds herself, and her soon to be ex-husband, being suspected of murder. Cameron decides to use her team of community service-hour seeking volunteers to help her investigate. Add in one step-daughter who has come to stay, and the victim’s 5 unruly dogs, and Cameron really has her hands full.

Well executed plot
Very real emotions
Get your tissues ready
I really enjoyed this movie and being able to connect with the main character. This movie was executed well and played off characters strengths and weaknesses wonderfully, highlighting how body issues are felt by everyone. Some of the subplots and supporting roles could have been developed further, and further insight into the main characters feelings would have solidified this movie a little bit more.

Overall, a sweet movies with a great message that will leave its target audience a more than a little weepy.
